Well I have been to baby group this morning and them somehow managed to spend a couple of hours drinking coffee & eating cake with some of the other mums, so not even started yet. Luckily the spare room doesn't need doing as it's not been used for a while so think I will just have a general tidy around today so the house looks ok for the weekend. I might even start on my list of jobs!

    My list
    car insurance
sort seeds & see what needs planting this month
pack away baby clothes that are now too small
sort out suitcase of pre-pregnancy clothes

    Hi all,

I am following you quietly and just doing what I can to keep up with the housework. Could someone tell me what "60 in 60" is please? I haven't come across that one before!

    60 minutes to put away/throw away/re-home 60 items
DD2 has seen the practise nurse and has been given erythromycin for her sore throat/tonsils of 2 weeks ( she has a possible penicillin allergy) - and due to DD1 recounting in great detail how erythromycin upset her tum DD2 is refusing to take the first dose until tonight!:mad::mad:

    Hope she gets better soon.

Managed to get most things done in town. I have half an hour now before I need to go to school and it will probably take me that long to do the next lot of financial tasks so best get to it.

Jue I hope the family help out over the weekend. Only do housework if you feel like it, it will be there next week, the week after and forever more. Be kind to yourself sweetheart you've had a horrid week.

DH has been "looking for" his binoculars for months now, apparently they are nowhere to be found. Today he decides he's lost his driving licence. Well, I haven't found that but I have found the binoculars..........

Talking about someone else, I gave him the "don't put it down, put it away" speech but I think it fell on stoney ground.

Other than that, some washing done and partly dried outside, draped round now to finish off. Not much else.

  • Sadly DD2's photography teacher has pretty much trashed her coursework. I have no objective to constructive criticism but to say 'this will get you no marks - why have you stuck it on this board - this does nothing for me' is pushing the boundaries on manners if nothing else!

She also tried to pull the pictures off the board - which really annoys me - I paid for that board and I like the final result - I would be happy to frame it and display it on my wall!

And she criticised the printing and told DD2 - 'you better go to Boots it'll only cost you £10-£20!' But the final picture was printed on the school printer - now why isn't their printer good enough?

Ok, well I haven't achieved much for last couple of days as work has been mega busy and I'm fit for nothing after that, but today I did clean master bedroom and vacuumed/swept through house before work so that will have to do.
