Know what you mean NW, I'm on 30pp at the mo (started on 33) it's amazing the amount you can eat and still lose weight on WW I love it, the weight doesn't fly off but you're not starving yourself and you still get healthy gradual losses which are more likely to stay off, I'm a walking advert for WW lol it's wonderful!! Did slimfast last year and it wrecked my insides cos of the milk/high fibre in it and I was starving! Prefer this so much!

I agree with your comments about slimfast - I was a bridesmaid for my friend almost four years ago and 'needed' (read wanted) to lose weight to look better in my dress. As a quick fix I used slimfast. Yes the weight came off but I was miserable and hungry. As soon as the wedding was over with all the old habits came creeping back. On WW I've found that my attitude to food has changed.

Are you eating enough protein as that fills you up (im a breadaholic so im trying to wean myself off it and am trying to eat more protein to fill me up)

Probably not eating enough protein but like you I prefer the carbs. Also don't have much time in the morning with getting 2 boys (fussy 2 and 5) fed and dressed and find protein things take a lot more "handling" to make a meal.

How about scrambled eggs (1 egg and an egg white with a splash of milk bunged in the micowave) and baked beans (again bunged in the microwave) with half a slice of toast that would really fill you up and wouldn't take too long to prepare.

hi,i started WW online 2 weeks ago.
i used top cash back-£30.30 cashback for signing up for week free trial, which you can cancel befote the week is up.,also joining online you don't pay joining fee either like you would with the classes.

to be honest, theres LOADS on the site i can't be bothered with,i just use the tracker and recipe info,
but theres all sorts, including a forum
    good luck!

You're right, that does sound quite quick to prepare. Am a little bit afraid of using the microwave as I tend to either overcook or undercook things but will give it a go.

On the plus side, I lost 2.5 lb this week. I am now 11stone 13.5 lb. 11 something is psychologically better than 12 something. Only another 4lb before I have lost 2 stone. I have also invested in a ww pedometer which tells you how many activity propoints you have earned. Quite a thrill to see how it all adds up(I'm sad, I should get out more!:rotfl:)

  • I've lost another 3 pounds this week :j that's 5 since I started WW.
Not hungry, am actually struggling to use my daily points, let alone the weekly points! My points came down to 27 today.

We're having the easy moussaka tonight (7 points) OH doesn't know he's doing WW too :rotfl:

I can recommend the butternut risotto recipe too from the WW site.
Scrummy and a very creamy flavour.

Mmm butternut risotto sounds yum, will look it up.

Having an okay week, had takeaway tues and meal out weds which I used most of my weeklies on, so need to make sure I behave whatever I decide I'm doing tonight!

I'm away in Edinburgh Mon-Weds so need to make sure I make good choices then too! I hate using up my weeklies early in the week! (I WI on a Mon!) I won't be drinking so that will help, the friends I'm going away with don't like to drink (!) so I don't bother either.
