I can't believe you guys have air-con on trains! As I've said earlier, here they don't even have automatic doors... you put your arm outside the door window to undo the door - and you have to be quick too; we were waiting at the station for a friend travelling down from Yorkshire and when the train pulled into the station the person closest the door didn't get the door open in time (or at all), so the train took off again and I ended up sending him a text to say "stay on the train, I'll drive to the next town to collect you ... it'll probably be for the best and quicker".... I had visions of a repeat performance and him ending up up-country again0

Includes one of the most extreme hoarders ever, a 71 year old.
I have been using the sudden multitude of hoarding programmes to guilt-trip me into sorting through all of my [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] precious belongings rather than clogging up my parents' house with things in London Borough of Hillingdon recycling bags (mainly).0 -
I was lucky enough to find this picture of LIR solving her parasol while gardening problem:
Scarily close to being me, i even wear my hair a bit like that often enough. Now i need to find a man to hold it for me when poor dh is working.
Last summer i held my parasol while in the dinghy on the paddling pool. It was cold so i also had a couple of blankets, wore a hat and read my book...what a summer we had 2011.0 -

Its a stupid filter, the thing with not having swear filters is it helps filter the erudite and worth listening to from the rest.
Boob gets through i think.

What really p155es me off about them is that I am a lovely person potentially looking for a nicely-sized 2-bed detached house - and many new build developers bung these into their developments and call them a "detached house". No proper 2-bed houses for regular people, just these festering over-priced piles o sh1te.
Also from doing the census/ electoral register stuff last year, I didn't like the estate it was on. Have seen too many and really don't like the big blocks of flats they have to include for the 'affordable' housing. I just got complete bad vibes about the place.
(Also on ex-hospital land, hosp is very close so prob lots of sirens etc etc etc - I was really trying to put them off)0 -

Er two bed then surely a three bed is the way to go..you will find its a two bed with a resonably sized wardrobe behind the third door i think.
I don't actually need a bedroom - so long as I could have an area that could contain a bed and wardrobes with walls on a couple of sides and a curtain that pulled round maybe... and just d4mned good storage in the rest of the place. I'd only need one room then. And I don't really want an upstairs, but I don't want a bungalow
It's mad to be me ....
Maybe the answer is a circular house with inner courtyard and glass walling overlooking the enclosed inner courtyard... and being able to wander round and round to the bit of the house I needed. That'd work.0 -

The old slam door rolling stock was still operating here until quite recently, I think they still have it on some of the south eastern lines out of London bridge but may be wrong. I hated those trains. You need aircon when there are 250+ people crammed into carriages designed to seat 50 odd.0 -
If you had ever been to Scunthorpe, you would know why...
I notice we are now within 100 posts of NPT6. I don't know why but I feel in my bones that Nikki should get the honour of starting the new thread. Would anyone like to second her?chewmylegoff wrote: »Twatface works too! !!!! on its own doesn't though and you can't get away with !!!!face or !!!!face but shitface is ok and so is crappy. BBC covered cashback shopping today:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18207304
The reporter spoke to me but I said I understood that the model required you to wait for the money and that waiting a fw months for a few hundred quid that I wouldn't otherwise have had was not a problem and she decided not to feature me in the piece. I should have said that if ?I couldn't have the money straight away then I would rather not have it at all and no doubt I could have been in the paper again.
I know almost 100% of the NP take the Daily Mail so next chance to see family Michaels will be on Wednesday, again talking about cashback....did I tell you I was theprofessionalshopper - or I will be if I ever get round to starting my blog.
Saw a piece on Saturday's breakfast news. What a joke - the reported just pointed out that it said on the Quidco page how long on average it would take.
Edit - it was the same person
Edit - (to save another post). Wow, what a privilege! I'm rubbish at coming up with team names etc so I'm going to struggle for the tag line though...0
