Would anyone like to second her?
1] I didn't have to start the conversation/nomination process.
2] I don't have to do anything.
3] I don't feel any kind of responsibility towards the new creation, as I would do if I were to start it.
I have this abnormally high sense of responsibility towards things, so don't like to start stuff as then I'd feel I was responsible for answering any slight query, made by anybody, about anything....0 -

Top tip for saving money:: Don't buy stuff.
I've not been wealthy enough to buy stuff that others are "saving money" buying - and I kind of think: STOP buying that !!!!...
But there's no money in an actual poor lifestyle, just in reading about a wealthy lifestyle with a few bob knocked off.0 -
I'm going to sleep - go easy on the posting!0

OH's firm allows him to travel business class long haul, a privilege only given to a few. For some reason that really annoys me, him and the only other UK bod given this privilege feel an obligation to do business class as cheaply as possible. This generally means staying over a saturday night or travelling via somewhere else to reach a destination they can fly to direct.
Last week other bod flew to America via Poland! and saved over a thousand pound on the fare. He flew yesterday via another American city where he had a 3 hour wait (in the business lounge of course). Anyway he got to destination but his luggage is still in the first port of call.this could mark the end of stupid flying patterns.

I'm like that....and when married, we were both like it.
Think that was why we could enjoy a lot more of our money than my work colleagues could, no finance to pay, no credit card to pay, no loans to pay...but then they also had nicer holidays, nicer sofas and nicer kitchens.
Nice healthy bank balance though. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

The people that post addictively in Grabbit about their amazing shops double or triple count everything they buy.
So this weeks amazing shop cost £10 for a shop "worth" £40 because they used coupons, price check vouchers, money off when you spend £40, the money off voucher from last week and count it again, the price check voucher from last weeks shop and count it again, etc So not only are they double counting vouchers but the price check vouchers mean they could have bought it cheaper elsewhere in the first place!
To top it all they have ended up with a fridge full of BBQ'd meat as that offered the greatest deal, some lego that was wrongly priced and 20 pairs of socks that had the wrong bar code plus oceans of grape juice that was cheaper in Asda. No fruit or veg this week because there wasn't a deal to be had!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I should set our resident super shopper the challenge of finding it for me at £40 inc P&P. There's lovely.
I do like the idea of knowing I just have to brush until a face appears.... I know I've done it right then!
And - it'll save me from looking like all these toothless old people I see everywhere..... and looking like a witch.
I have that toothbrush. It's brilliant. The kids have Oral B electric toothbrushes too so we can change heads if we forget to charge. Mine is clearly better. Since I started using it three years ago, I've gone from some concerns about my gums to none whatsoever and 10 months between check ups and I didn't need them cleaning at all last time. Interdental toothbrushes and dental tape too, not floss. You have to buy heads when you see them on offer. Definitely worth the investment IMO.
Just wish they were straightEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I love interdental brushes, they make a huge difference imo.0

I apparently had a great great uncle or something that was a Christian Scientist. He found it very confusing, I'm told. As a Christian Scientist he believed that any kind of pain, sickness or injury was an illusion, but as a successful army officer he couldn't help noticing that people die or get injured when you shoot them....Thank you. This 'coach house' made my mum not speak to me (not pick up the phone, not reply to texts or emails) for a week - when I was a month away from moving back here to live. That was fun.
And still everyone else insists that is a coach house.
Could you take the link out of the bit I have quoted? If someone really wanted to I think they could work out where my bro works from my previous posts. Which I'm sure they wouldn't be bothered to, but still...
Edit - meant to quote chewy's post
Missed it! Could you PM me the link, please?
PS My hair is straight and although I used to have an electric toothbrusth I didn't bother replacing it when it died a few years ago, and have a "normal" toothbrush now.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
