None of us in our family are an aunt, nor will we ever be. Of me/siblings, none of us had children; one married, the spouse had one sibling who also married, but didn't have kids.

Not to late.
I have an aunt with 3 children who thought she would not have grandchildren. Then on of hers remarried at the age of 40+ and produced 3 within 4 years.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Passport renewal form confusing the f*** out of me. Looks like a lot I just leave blank.... it looks like I just fill in Section 2 and 3. Then Section 4 mark as "NO" "NO".. Then ignore 05, 06, 07, 08. Sign 09. Ignore 10.
Then sign at the end and send it off with payment, old passport and 2 photos.
This will end up taking me hours to go over and over and over and over and over and over.... and I want to post it off today.0 -
Do you look very different from your old photo? If so you will need to find a suitable person to endorse your new photos. Do check that your photos meet the new guidelines - I always pay extra for the post office checking service.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yep - check and send. Getting dressed now to go down and get it sorted. Bizarrely, one PO that says they do check and send on the Post Office branch finder website is one where I went in for just the form the other day and they said "Forms are only from the main PO".... so I'll try that one first anyway, I have other "jobs" to do within 50 yards of that one and I can park outside. Back later.0 -

There is a lot of it that can be left blank. You may need to have somebody countersign it who has their UK/ROI passport number. One pitfall is that any signiatures have to be inside boxes without touching the edge.

Oh - in looking in the bit about "documents" it does mention looking different... but I don't think I do. It's only 13 years since the last one, I don't look any different.0
