PNNP could you have potato with coleslaw ?
Well, that's what's for tomorrows dinner as I have to finish off the coleslaw... leaving just the 2Kg of spuds.

They have to be eaten, I have a "zero waste" policy over everything. My annual waste pile for food is two loaves of bread MAX, across the whole year (and the thought I ever wasted any would cause me pain).

I have a rule "If you buy it, you have to eat it - ALL". If I can't eat all of something, I can't buy it. Simples.

I think your sig should be your new ad from a page or so ago.

DH thinks I'm hot too. But then clarifies by saying "by which I mean full of hot air". I think that's why I feel so at home on the rest of the board.

Incidentally all the ss's... DH and I have a remote each. Not because we both blip the TV in a war with each other, but because I am prone to dropping mine on the floor, or picking it up and changing channel just after moisturising or using hand cream and this is not acceptable... I'm married to someone very exacting, who stops short of taking his out of bubble wrap to change channels.

Are we talking speaking softly when having a sore throat? (In a sort of Robert Redford way?)
Whisper is a bit of a funny coincidence actually. Not quite, but almost. Though, not the job description.:D

S'alright. I will ponder it over the weekend, then maybe ask some np's to look at it.:D
    I think....

Yes, I saw someone have a go at your sig which I thought was well out of order.

Do you think we can just wander down to the end of the road when the flame is due or will it be crowded and needing to stake out a space earlier?

Awww, thanks lir. I have to keep my sig the way it is though, partly because it winds someone up and I'm digging my heels in like all good Taureans, second because speaking to someone I know their close family has been hit by melanoma and once again people didn't know what signals to look for.
    I think....

I have no idea re Olympic flame. We were just planning to turn up quarter of an hour before, find a place and stand there. I can't believe that queues on the pavement will be five deep when the route covers most of the country.

I just hope for the sake of people who are having their moment with the torch that everyone has some members of the public turning out to see them.

Personally, I'd just take my chance on that, but maybe your little folk will feel disappointed if they can't see?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Incidentally, on the melanoma front, the reason I feel so passionate is that it is one of the fastest growing cancer rates, yet in terms of funding it is quite a cinderella cancer compared to - say - breast cancer.

My Mum was one of six kids. Skin cancer and other related disorders run in five of those branches. Melanoma secondaries killed my aunt. Melanoma was the unwanted present my cousin got for his 21st birthday. That's why I am so passionate about getting the message across.

My daughter brought home the most amazing boy yesterday. Well over 6 feet tall, handsome, intelligent, well educated, good manners, religious (like she is), and very eligible. By far the best looking boy that she had ever brought home to see us, but sadly as gay as a maypole

I had the misfortune to encounter my dad when I was on my last date.... he proceeded to embarrass me of course by trying to hand me a curry with a big REDUCED sticker on it right then and there ... doh. And when I next saw him he said "He was the best looking man I have EVER seen, exceedingly good looking ... and I wondered what he was doing with you".

Strangely ... after meeting dad, nothing. We finished later that day.

P.S. Please don't quote this... it still hurts and I'll delete it soon.
