Incidentally all the ss's... DH and I have a remote each. Not because we both blip the TV in a war with each other, but because I am prone to dropping mine on the floor,
Taurean trait I'm afraid. I'm just teasing about the remote0 -
Jools Holland has just interviewed Jimmy Webb, who it turns out has written (IMHO) one of the best country songs ever -Glenn Campbell's "Wichita Lineman".;)
I'll be honest; much as C&W is everywhere in West Central Scotland, it has never stolen my heart, but that's a song everyone should hear at least once, surely.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Watching Ladette to Lady on IV2 (freeview 6). When did finishing schools all close down? Or do they still exist? And, if they do exist - have any NPs ever met anybody that ever went to one?0

Thailand is lovely, however the sun is too hot and I now resemble a boiled lobster so now I am trapped indoors bored!0

My Mum was one of six kids. Skin cancer and other related disorders run in five of those branches. Melanoma secondaries killed my aunt. Melanoma was the unwanted present my cousin got for his 21st birthday. That's why I am so passionate about getting the message across.
Absolutely not the ugly sister over here.
Mrs Generali was astounded that her GP in the UK told her to stop malingering when she went to see him about a mole that had grown and requested its removal.
Her Pommie Grandmother living in QLD has 2-3 moles removed each year, her mother has had half a dozen(?) malignant/semi-malignant moles removed plus a bunch of other harmless ones.
I found it funny when I last went back to the UK that people were a bit disappointed: "You haven't got much of a tan". !!!!!!, I slap #30 all over me and the Generalissimos, stick on hats and sunnies just to mow the lawn. Why on earth would I want to get a tan?
Getting sunburn in Australia is like smoking: a dumb way of accelerating your route to the grave. A guest of mine in Aus is still held in contempt by the family for refusing offers of sunscreen whilst out on a yacht because "I tan red". That was over 3 years ago now and is used as an in joke for, "Do you want some sun cream or do you want to get a red tan like ......."?0 -

I met a young lady that went to finishing school in my youth. We got on particularly well as I recall IYSWIM.0 -

I know some one who set one up. Pretty sure it was a flop.
Guy ritchie's mother had an interest in setting up a finishing school.0 -

Oh come on chewy...sneak into the love and tell us what was in the intimacy kit or what ever thay called it.
Anything special in the cosy? Did you pick the right room?0 -
The cosy has a day bed inside and two aircon units, which is especially useful when you have sunburn. I think it was the right room, the love rooms do have a much bigger outside bit but are almost all overlooked by the pool so not very private. I havent found out what is in the intimacy kit yet, I probably could by talking to some of the other guests but I won't be doing that so we'll never know!0

I tan red as well, but that's despite being covered in factor 50!0
