Has anyone watched a comedy series called "Grandma's House" with SImon Anstell?

I do really well when eating about 500 calories a day regularly, but it makes me a pain to be around because i can never eat out or eat a normal meal.
It's never bothered me what people do/don't eat. I'm quite happy sitting in a food place, with nobody else eating for various reasons. I hate the pressure people put on others to eat just because it makes them uncomfortable.

I remember one night, about 30 years ago, I went out for a meal with a friend (meal = sit down burger in my world). She wanted to eat at some place I didn't want to, but I said I'd sit while she ate. She INSISTED she couldn't eat if I wasn't, so I ordered a burger. My burger came... I ate it ... still waiting for hers; called the waiter over and her order had been forgotten/lost, so they said they'd do it immediately.... instead, we left - and went to the next place, where I'd intended eating (yes I am happy going to two restaurants so two people out can eat different meals).... and we both ate there. So that night I had two dinners. A burger in the first place and probably a curry in the second.

It's going to be interesting to watch them going into the first corner!

Weird grid isn't it? Exciting. Good news for the red cars hopefully. I'm pleased for Maldonaldo getting his first pole so quickly, albeit under strange circumstances. I don't know what McLaren were thinking, they only needed about a glass full more of fuel and Hamilton had a half second advantage. Still, cheats never prosper... (goes away and waits for someone to say "unless they are called Schumacher).

I've been trying to get my lawn done quickly before F1 starts. It looks like it is going to rain yet again though. Yesterday, sun all day I was at work. I think I will leave it for after and hope it works out, very overcast here now and I have an electric mower.

Can't work out the last photo.

I think the top half is an arrivals hall at an airport and the bottom half is a random 1960s concrete office block, but I'm not certain.

Doh, just noticed that Wheezy's already answered and said the same. Does anyone else scroll through posts and then miss a bunch?

UHT milk lasts for 6-9 months, unopened, no real excuse not to have some in stock.
On the basis I've not had a visitor in any place I've lived for about 10 years..... that's an excuse.

I know several coppers ...a way ...find out if it's not for you without having committed yourself to it.
They never used to allow short 4rses into the police. Used to have a big ole height restriction.

Just out in the garden, random chat with neighbour .... and she said "you'll be all right once the house has sold".... why do people think I was left something in my parent's will??? I wasn't. I've had nothing and there was nothing there for me - it all went to my other parent, who promptly went into care, so the care system will now get the deceased's life savings cash.

    Such an assumption.

I have just heard that Ashleigh and Pudsey have won BGT. A girl and her dog, but I'm not sure which one is Pudsey?

I've never seen them. Are they any good? Is it some sort of comedy routine?

I'd be worried if it was my daughter that was appearing on this show just before her "A" level exams next week (Ashleigh's 17 apparently).

There's rumours about them going to the US to be involved in dog food advertising.

Fair enough if they make some money, good luck to them, but this is a crucial time in somebody's education, and most teenagers would have enough on their plate about now.:(
