We have friends coming for lunch next weekend and becaus of the ruddy weather i don't know what to serve for a starte or for pudding, Its really frustrating. I know i want to make it in advance to make thngs easier as we also have. Village event after lunch and a nother thing in the evening and i will be shattered if i have to be sociable three times afte cooking for lunch. Lunc is so much harder than supper.0

We are made great progress wit the hoarding issue this week. I love these tv shows, one this week had a guy who works at ronnie Scotts, dh identified with him and came home yesterday and sugugested bishing loads of stuff he has been hanging on to, in fact, i fee a little unnerved by how much!0 -

Deep fried scotch egg for starter and a mint magnum for dessert. Can't go wrong.0 -

Hahaha, well deep frying a scotch egg i could burn the house down.
I am thinkin if icecream,or a semifreddo because i can do it on monday, but if its anything cooler than today sitting in our fridge of a house its a bit like some form of torture.
In fact,if its weather like today i have thought of dragging the dining room table into the garden:eek:0 -
Given the effect that VW advert had on me I'm not sure I should watch the end of senna. But knowing my luck if I change the channel I'll find myself watching the end of water ship down when the bunny dies.0
