PN You use a dongle? What exactly do you use as I have a friend who struggles to connect where ever they are, with their dongle.

Does it cost a lot? I thought dongles may cost a lot to run but you seem to be happy with your dongle but not so happy with the price of a pasty.
I have had a dongle since about 2008. Originally it was my "in case my broadband packs up -and- when I am visiting my parents as they have no Internet -and- I might suddenly get a job working away from home in the week and will want Internet" solution. Since late 2009 though it's been my sole Internet connection.

I can't remember how much I pay .... but it's with Three. It might be £15, might be £30. What companies charge etc changes over time. I was originally on a minimum 18 months, which is now clearly exceeded. When I want to use another PC/laptop (even somebody else's like I did at Xmas when my sibling had theirs with them) I just plug it in and it loads the software in about 30 seconds and it's ready to go.

I have never exceeded the 5GB/month limit they set, but I don't watch TV/videos/youtube online.

At first the service was flakey, but in mid-2010 they upgraded the local exchange and it's been 99.99999% reliable since then. Signal is usually good but I do rely on ONE aerial working, which is about 400 yards away.

PN. If your 21 and hot, you may well stop getting a load of dirty PM's by certain people to be replaced by a load of dirty PM's by other people :rotfl:
I've not had any PMs since posting that .... and I haven't had any PMs of that nature for nearly 2 years I think now.

Thanks LIR. Please feel free to mention them again though as unless something is texted to me or (better) in my email inbox it tends to go in one ear and out the other. I continally try and get my family to understand that having a conversation with me is fine but they should follow up anything we agree with an email as othewise it probably won't get in to google calander in which case it doesn't exist...
I love crab apples michaels. I am getting harry baker though. Tbh, i think for a lone front garden tree you could get something more unusual and rewarding, but mentioned things i would look at before so i guess they don't appeal!
    I think....

There's nothing worse than a random visitor that drops by and expects you to stock your cupboards the same way they do. My mum/dad have still never forgiven me for the time they randomly dropped by in 2002, wanted a coffee, then moaned that I didn't have milk and left in a huff.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hmm...well....

Malus, i am going for harry baker, like a said. If the fruit were less important to me (and frankly i struggle to see the point of ornamental only fruit trees) i would go for prarie fire. If only the fruit were important it would be the traditional john downie.

I think your wife mit like a tulip tree, as well as having pretty shaped green leaves, they Have beautiful tropical looking flowers. Possibly my favorite ornamental tree atm.

Strawberry tree. Pretty, and while the fruit is meant to be disgusting, it is edible. I want one of those, and a june berry tree too.

If i live in the south east i would also be looking at a portuguese quince. Mainly for the fruit, but they beautiful trees. I daren't risk one of these most tender quinces here, and think i will get a meech's prolific. You could always let the kids pick the quinces at sell them at the gate for pocket money!

Two more...a burnt sugar tree....looks beautiful and smalls gorgeous in late summer and autumn, also called the candy floss tree.

And a liquid amber. Probably best autumn colour going and pretty leaves when in leaf.

Youngest got himself a pay as you go phone from 3 a couple of months ago, it came complete with a £15 top up which gives him oodles of calls and texts....and all you can eat data.

The phone also has a tethering capability, so he can use it for internet where ever he is for his Ipad, the laptop or his Ipod.

Wasn't that dear a phone either and for a £15 top up each month, he can use the internet to his hearts desire on the move.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

On holiday each year, my parents always ask for a cup of coffee when they visit us in our caravan...and each year I have to tell them I never have coffee.

They are occasionally in luck if middle son has purchased some sachets of coffee but that is rare and I absolutely refuse to buy the stuff...I find the smell of coffee far more intolerable than the smell of a cigar burning and that is pretty intolerable.

Just map/google'd it, it's 100 mile round trip ... to go for a walk. Or, I can sit here and save £15 in fuel and save the planet,..... then spend that £15 on foody treats for the rest of the week.... and that's why fat people don't walk.

I have just drawn a circle on the map 50 miles radius from Cotehele. PN, I need a couple more distance figures, please. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Well, some people do have stuff in stock just for visitors. But not perishable items. Would UHT milk have been okay?

Thank you LIR (is your middle name wikipedia?)

At the front of the house and not that far away we need to be careful with how much roots and how big it will grow to - for example when I was growing up we had a 80 foot tulip tree in the garden so that would probably not suit...

Our favourite apples are royal Gala but I worry whether fruiting hybrids are as robust and I also don't really understand about the pollination class thing. Being on the edge of town we also do get some fairly low temperatures so that needs to be considered.

That's handy to know. I really don't understand phones at all.... but I must get round to getting one and - really - in the next 2-3 weeks.... as after that date I will become "no fixed abode" again.

It's easy to get an address to use for mail, but that's no good for proving you live somewhere (bills), nor receiving packages for stuff you want/need. I'll be using a sibling's address, about 200 miles from where I'll really be.
