I'd head over to the ebay thread where they are experts. I know most couriers have max dimensions for their standard service.

I think about 3 years ago I heard about pearly queens, before then I wouldn't have had a scoobie.

Sorry guys, it's been a long week, so how are we all?

I've started lovingly having marketing calls on my mobile again, and during one of them I've given my phone to the sisters 2yr old daughter when telemarketers ring. She spend 10 minutes earlier pressing buttons and talking to her new call centre friends

Cab firm (or 50%) sold to rival company, with the other 50% to go in December. I'm all for free business competition, but refuse to sell a company to an bsolute idiot. :rotfl:

We use DPD for work, not sure if they take private work, or check a local taxi company, as it was £25 cheaper to get one of our drivers to deliver it than it was to get them to do it. This only works if it's short distance.

If we ever did a pearly queen timeline, I'd be at the other end with Pastures. I couldn't tell you how long I've known about pearly kings and queens but it does feel like forever.

Man near Barford, Avon's recently bought a house that backs onto the river .... and he bought a boat. Decided to take three kids out in the boat, in a swollen river, and it headed towards the weir..... and tipped over. So 2 missing kids and a man in the Avon now.

I think they are saying it's an auction business owner - they are naming him on the news, but I won't yet.

Yes! Two semi finals and then the final. It goes semi final (day off) semi final (day off) final. The second semi final I think will clash with the UK viewing of the final of American Idol, so I will have a lot of TV going down here that night that nobody approves of.
