Just had a random phone call from a neighbour in the next street.... asking if I was here and if I was OK because apparently the noisy lads next door are keeping the neighbourhood awake.... couldn't hear them from this room as I had the telly on :)

Hotel at the back has their finger poised over their phone to call the police on them.

Bank holiday plans include getting a second coat of pain on the bedroom walls, going junk shopping with a frined i met through mse, and dh going out on Lake Cake in a canoe mse chum is giving him. If its dry we are planning on some outside tidying and weeding and using the ancient but new to us lawn mower. :).

I was going to put the pelagoniums back outside but then hears this freak frost warning so not sure whether to or not now.

I did wonder whether this was just a Daily Express scare, but I've just looked at the weather forecast for the next two weeks. I'm going to have overnights of -3 during this balmy spring long weekend and over the next two whole weeks the forecast maximum high is a lousy 15 degrees, and most of the time it's forecast to be around about 10-12 as a high.

I'm now imagining rows of flowers doing the Hokey Kokey and I'm not even stoned.
