I have boxes in five rooms, one year after moving. Does that count the same as one room full of boxes, five years after moving?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Needless to say, I do not anticipate moving any boxes of mine tomorrow now I know that
Thank you!
We are just anout to bring the jorses in, having dragged them out this morning fo

I did something to my back this morning while out shopping and managed to bring the food home but can only move in short small bursts. I have a whole house to tidy and 6 people to feed for lunch tomorrow0

Re the weather thing Pastures flagged. We are all under yellow warning in the south of the country, except one county on the map. Looks like Worcestershire by itself is on an Amber warning:

Thought I'd mention in case any NPs affected. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I would tend to bin most things I haven't used in a year or so. I do live to regret that from time to time.
Just blitz it Lydia, and it will be done in no time0 -
Missk, can you get some co-codamol? That should hopefully give you enough pain relief to tidy the house and hopefully you'll be better tomorrow.
I find max-dose solpadeine works really fast because it is effervescent. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have 2 boxes of engagement and wedding presents that we don't like/ have no use for but I define as being a waste to throw out. They are now 25 & 26 years old and have survived the last 3 house moves boxed and intact.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. That's amazing.
I bet some of the items will be very collectable, especially if they are in their original packaging.
My mum watches some of these antiques programs but it does nothing for me.
I used to have the odd "antique" car but that's another matter0 -

E.g. We put in sniper 100' and the item has been bought, by someone else, probably also sniping, at under 100. So, we would have paid 100 but didn't get the item
I'm afraid somebody else may be sniping manually or automatically for the same thing.
Have you a good lead time? 7 s or a bit longer is usually best as the default may be too short for ebay to process. Also try a ceiling bid that's not a round number - £101.51 or something. But watch a few more auctions until you're sure of the winning bid size. I think you get three free bids a month, so don't waste the third until you get some idea what the other bidders are up to.
That's my 2000th post! I see I now have four stars. Never really knew how the system worked. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
