Aww - well, at least if you're ill you don't have to do anything tomorrow. Just whimper a bit. Back pain's the worst. I had a bizarre back pain the other night - middle/top of my back .... convinced myself it was some bizarre form of heart attack, as you do. Right as rain in the morning.0

I would tend to bin most things I haven't used in a year or so. I do live to regret that from time to time.
Just blitz it Lydia, and it will be done in no time
Two reasons why not:
1) There are plenty of things in there that we do actually want and would use if we knew where they were. When we do manage to look through a box there are delighted cries of "I've found the X" (from all of us).
2) DS and DD are hyper-sensitive to loss (for obvious reasons) and don't deal well with getting rid of things. Gradually is better for them. Much of the stuff that's still in boxes is stuff from LNE's house, so it has lots of emotional importance for them.
ETA Hope your back improves soon, missk. Sounds awful. I've never had really bad lower back pain, but I've had completely debilitating neck pain at times in the past, so I can imagine.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Is that the second episode in as many weeks? Will you please, please, please go see a doc once you are settled back in the other house and near a doc you are registered with? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Lifting the boxes today I did have one tiiiiiny little pain though. But I think I am just at that age where you can scare yourself silly, thinking you're about to drop dead with everything you feel a bit ill with
When I am back at the other house, next week, that's where I am registered... although they're actually useless as the last thing I went to them for ended up in disaster/not happening due to their incompetence. So I've not bothered going back since to pick up my initial enquiry or for anything subsequent.0 -

Agreed. Missk, you need to see a doc too. Or a chiropractor or something.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Aww. Thank him from us. Yes, we're all fine - well, just at this particular moment they are driving me nuts by squabbling with each other, but apart from that....Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
