She was only there for that one song, on her own doing her own style, she is a very good singer but I think she had hit the alcohol and had been shouting/singing along to the guys as they played. One good thing is it gave the boys the experience of playing with a singer and hopefully convince to get their act together and blooming get one! :rotfl:
They've had an offer of a gig...in front of 10,000 people in July, at the moment, their emotions are going from :j to  and back to :j again.
Thanks for the comments though, the boys will be chuffed when I tell them.
Mostly :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I imagine. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Really enjoyed the vid Sue! Just imagining you singing Sweet Child of Mine to that Sweet Child of Yours. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You lot are quiet tonight. Pop back in to at least catch up this pm's chat and there isn't one!
Been busy, busy but I shall try and catch up a bit now.
LIr, I've been talking to a very clever and qualified, impartial man about renewables. I know we thought this, but you won't achieve heat from a low temp source without ruining the character.
Edit: sorry viva, you weren't there when i started typingEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Went to quaker service for dead gm today, I think half of us were there to check reports were not exaggerated and to meet d younger b's fabled American GF.
DD 2 has conjunctivitis quite bad and dd1 and ds eyes looking a bit red - mine are itching too when I think about it but psychosomatic I hope.
Apparently it was a very funny joke for everyone to ask me where they could buy an 'xyz' cheap. Anyone else ever done anything they regretted?I think....0 -

Heaps.
Just not on national television....:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Great vids, Sue.Their chance will come. Iron Maiden are getting a bit long in the tooth now....
Being no musician, that's how I got to be in bands....No one ever wants to do the singing! I can understand why too. First band used to rehearse in an old, damp chicken packing shed and the mike would suddenly go live, or I'd have to separate the guitarists when things became.... err.... tense. It didn't last.
Second band actually did gigs and sometimes resulted in real money. Never played 10 000 though. It was more like 200 at most events. The most scary was at a supposed 'Rock Festival' where, when the curtains opened, there were just 12 year old girls eating crisps as far as the eye could see, which fortunately wasn't far!
Happy days! "Here Dave, can you busk the first half with the others? We've broken down....again.":rotfl:0 -

Thanks for the lovely comments re the band middle son is in (got to get a plug in for their name - Huthier). They are all on a high at the moment and the icing on the cake would be to get through the school talent show on Thursday for the chance to play at a very big venue indeed in the local area.
Youngest is also a very proud little man because after over a year of saving his pocket money, Christmas and birthday money plus selling some of his bits and pieces, he finally had enough to buy his Ipad 2 over the weekend. He's not shut up about it for the last few days but to see the sense of pride he has over finally achieving his goal, it's worth it.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
