So, why is wet but dried out and unharmed worse than splattered with cake batter and forever more a wee bit sticky?
Whilst not being entirely happy about book damage, cookery books do belong in the kitchen, & I suppose it is a risk of this that a tiny bit of batter may reach towards said reading material. Whilst referring to the whilst baking, they're being used for the purposes for which they are to be used.
Though I'd encourage taking some action to protect the welfare of said books. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

But i also had thughts i still have and am not proud of about america's pov on terrorism elsewhere.
I have a frined who's daughters 7th birthday was the day it happened/the news broke.
Must have been aweful for that child with the world appearing to weep & be miserable for this woman on her birthday. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I didn't wake her up for it, but something similar happened to Mrs. Wheezy.
Me : "You'll never guess who died!"
Mrs W. : "Who?? The Queen???"
Me : "No, Osama."0 -

i've just had a recount and discovered sockets I didn't know I had. 30!
10 are at the dining room end of the kitchen, so you can discount those if you want. They are all double sockets, so really 15 x 2. Some are hidden in cupboards, so not that useful. 1 double is directly under the sink, so I wouldn't use that for anything other than the waste disposal.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Crikey! She has more than you! Is that singles or doubles?
If I get multi-outlet extension leads would that help? Or don't they count?
To balance the books, the study has only one double socket. Each socket is attached to a 6-gang. I was at work during 9/11. A colleague came at the end of my class and started describing what had happened , but I initially thought he was describing a book or movie or TV series. We found a TV where we could see some details.
My biggest worry was a possible over-reaction, that the US would go bonkers and hit back blindly. I could imagine us getting into a situation where that kind of a crisis became an everyday event, instead of just the fear of it becoming an everyday event. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
