I have the power... Mwah ha ha ha!
I have 8 and 3 are empty :j
The oven and hob have their own switches though.
I have toaster, kettle, microwave, FF and washing machine.... Oh wait! I don't think I counted where the washing machine is plugged in.
All fairly easy.
So what do you fill your sockets with viva?0 -
Will say none of it is my work, there is a switch in the kitchen which I have no idea what it does.
Anyway, I win I may not have the most plug sockets but my toaster boils eggs (as well as toast of course).
I listed the chairs in the utility room for comedy effect, they don't need power.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Especially as I have just remembered another 2. However the one behind the fridge might be a single socket so either 17 or 18. I think the extractor fan may have one in the cupboard - any advances on 19?
Used 24/7 are three sockets.
Used daily on demand are 3 sockets (microwave, kettle, toaster once a day). Those items could all run from one socket if there were room to have the 3 sitting alongside each other, Having them all plugged in all the time is a luxury.
My parents' house has 5 sockets. Fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric can-opener (not a posh alert, that's a dexterity aid for the elderly ... until even that was too complex). Their living room has 2 sockets.0 -

My mind is a bit like a hose with a kink in it, its all there, it just gets backed up, sometimes, when the kink straightens, memories and thoughts come really quickly and i cannot get them all down or out quickly enough. Really, thats when i should try playing the piano, see if that comes back, instead of me sitting at it for endless hours with nothing working right!0 -

Not a lot. The washing machine's in one, the microwave and kettle have their own and the other appliances have those switches that they are hard wired behind. I've never thought about how many I have until tonight. It's just a function of living in a fairly modern house that had plenty already, but in which the previous owners felt the need to install another bank.

As for the slowcooker - I think they're a great idea, but really should be available in a 2 pint size.
You can use them for desserts/sweet stuff... maybe it's worth some time investigating just 1-2 great things to use the slowcooker for.... 1-2 real treats.
The other issue I have with the thought of a slowcooker is people suggest you can come home to a nice hot meal - and I fail to see how - they cook in a shorter time than the time a full-time worker is usually out at work... and, once you're at work, you can never really be sure what time you can get away (invariably getting conned into free overtime or a meeting that overruns).0
