It's not just me still awake then? Busy night, is it the solar flare?

Sleeps not coming :(. There's only so much BBC3 a girl can take and my tummy is telling me it's breakfast. I can also tell that the M5 is closed near me.

    Hope you're feeling better :(

I've been super tired for a few days now, I think I'd like to just be able to sleep for a weekend.

Sounds like a plan! Clear the diary, find some delivery numbers, tv in the bedroom, someone to keep you warm :)

We've heard suggestions that you should leave a garden gate open to let the foxes in and have a root around. Supposedly they make short work of them.

I expect this'll turn out to be an urban myth! :o

Unless your fences & gate are at least 5' high, it's a myth. :)

I have just remembered 'our' london fox used to sleep ontop of a garage....i watched him leap up there a few times. They are resourceful and determined creatures. And so beautiful.

Percy, you have evaded the mushroom question. On which side of the chasm that separates mushroom likers and mushroon revilers do you sit?

I like them... is that the right or wrong answer? :D

It has been recommended I get myself in here, so here I am.
Welcome Percy. From lurking in some other threads, I gathered you're in Oldham? We used to live not that far from you (Heaton Moor) until 2007 (living down south now). Spent many days in the Peak District (Howden Dams, Dove Stone reservoir, Snake Pass...) it's lovely up there.

I've never had a Nandos... looked it up, none in my county, my round trip would be 100 miles.

Excuse me Miss PN, but there are 2 Nandos in Plymouth, so no excuses. :naughty:

You are correct I am in Oldham, it is great to drive up into the hills as you say, snake pass is epic as long as you don't get stuck behind a 25mph snake of cars.
