    Hi Percy
I posted some info about our thread to Yertiz (who I think you might know) in this post here - it describes a wee bit about us so if you like it here feel free to hang around and contribute as you see fit.

    Welcome!

I've never had a Nandos... looked it up, none in my county, my round trip would be 100 miles.

Hiya Percy1983, Great to 'see' you, although I am new to this thread, it has a nice feel to it, I have been made very welcome.
Glad to hear you've had a productive evening with your website and it would be good to hear how it progresses.
There are also serious discussions on here as well, so I'm told!
If someone asks you if you like mushrooms dw its a straightfwd ?!

    I hear nando's!

I love piri piri chicken, as it is I have mad it so many ways at home trying different mixs of sauces and spices and my nephew loves it more than nando's itself.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

As for my website its actually part of my business venture so not sure I can post a link, as it is I do think I have it looking professional which is the main thing.

Percy, you have evaded the mushroom question. On which side of the chasm that separates mushroom likers and mushroon revilers do you sit?

    Cheer up. We have rats.
    So do we:(

Our chickens live in the tack room and we have a recurrent rat problem there and in their run. The current rat leader is enormous too big to enter a bait box and has studiously avoided eating the poison and tiptoed round snap traps over several months. I see him running up the struts and into the overhang.

Cats are workshy. To be fair Enzo only has one tooth left following an incident with a car so it would take some time to suck a rat to death. Other cat only goes out rarely.

On the plus side the local rat catcher is a vivacious young woman who is now a friend of my daughters as they have seen so much of each other over the last year.

Was the laptop connected to the internet? Could it have downloaded a windows update and decided to restart?

It shouldn't have. I've set it to download updates automatically but not install them without asking.

I don't want to worry you but I would have thought leaving a laptop on in the loft might be a fire risk?

Interesting point. Why would it be any more of a fire risk in the loft than in the rest of the house? It's on boards, so it's not as though there's soft fluffy stuff risking blocking up its vents or anything.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
