Excuse me Miss PN, but there are 2 Nandos in Plymouth, so no excuses. :naughty:
    As I said, it's a 100 mile round trip... and I just checked it's 110 miles.

Why is it that the M6 toll road only requires you to swipe or tap (I can't remember which) your credit or debit card, whereas the Severn Bridge toll requires a manned aisle, a chip and pin wired machine and waiting for a receipt.

Further why is it the M6 traffic can cope with variable tarrifs depending on the time of day, but put the price up of the Severn Bridge on 1 January and 3 weeks later people still don't know the correct charge.

It took me 8 minutes to get through earlier in the week, with only 6 cars in front of me. Grrrr!
At least the tolls are only in one direction.

M6 Toll. The best fiver a driver'll ever spend.
The more I drove through the Birmingham motorway network on my travels the more I realised it's where the government stores its reserve stockpile of traffic jams in case another part of Britain ever needs one.

I bet I had the most awesome evening meal.... microwaved kebab, followed by instant strawberry custard eaten with a big spoon out of the mug I mixed it in.

As for my website its actually part of my business venture so not sure I can post a link, as it is I do think I have it looking professional which is the main thing.
For a business venture it's important.... but I make money from the most cr4ppy looking sites in the world. Design is something I have never ever been able to achieve at even the lowest levels.... so I figure "put words on pages = good" and s0d the look of it.

    :)

I make money from my awesome SEO skills.... or, I would if/when I get back into doing any actual "work" on any of my sites.... which were abandoned early last year due to 101 family situations that required my 200% attention at all times ... and now I am close to being free of that. "Living" off the residuals since summer last year, which isn't too shabby. I'll simply start again shortly and rebuild my empire bigger, wider and stronger than before :)

I was wondering what was happening in your world Pastures, so thanks for the update.

The more I think about it, the more I think you could be the right person to start a social networking site for Aspies looking to start their own business or seeking careers advice. I have looked and couldn't find one, yet there are many brilliant aspies seeking opportunities, yourself included. I work and have worked with some hugely talented aspies and it frustrates me hugely when I hear how much difficulty you have getting beyond the interview stage.

It's only 18.9 miles each way for me, but that's if I use the Nandos Superhighway, which exists only on their web site.

In reality, it's 25 miles from here to Princesshay in Exeter.

Mind you, in Nandoland, it's only 49 miles to Cardiff. Don't fancy the swim tonight though! :rotfl:

    I'm so unemployable it's incredibly freeing :)

I've got all sorts going against me now: Not working as an employee for nearly 6 years; lots of job changes due to contracting/temping and companies closing down but it 'looks bad'; being self-employed puts a lot off; saying stupid answers at interviews .. and now my age :) ... oh and my geography isn't conducive to finding anything either.

It's great.... don't have to look for work, or feel any pressure to, as I don't have the confidence to believe anybody'd give me a job through the route of "see job advert, send CV, do interview"... only way I'd get a job is if somebody met me and then offered me something out of the blue :)

I hate the sites that have skimped on the locator software. I'm 100 miles from Cardiff.... if only I can buy an amphibious car.
