[a] I am living off the grid, so to speak - and my address is not known; I am using another address, in the same way that people don't change their address to their caravan when they go on holiday :)
Anybody reading would know I'd have the calculator out and decide you're all too expensive to visit.
[c] Anybody reading this and thinking I would go and thinking they know where I am, would already know I've nothing to nick .... and it'd cost them £100 extra in travel costs to check ... so not worth it.

I’m CM23, if you want to get me on the map. Take this lovely picture of myself and Cllr Elliott for your map. :)
13's old enough to be working. Get them doing stuff, pay £2/hour.

I’m thinking of doing so. Unfortunately, and the sad thing about this is that when I’m at home, they’re normally summoned to the living room so I can get on with work.

Does dragging them round various parks/offices/cafes/council offices count as quality time though? I really wish it did! They have come up with some great ideas for the splash park, though!

For anyone that missed it (end of last year), this has now hit 1m downloads on iTunes

I decided to get the cheapo Suntech panels (Chinese) but when it actually came to it, the supplier hadn't delivered any, so the installing company gave me a free upgrade to Hyundai panels (S Korean). My neighbour (with identical roof and inverter) paid the extra for the top of the range Sanyo ones (Japanese). I'll see if I can grab him and ask him how much he's generated, so we can make a direct comparison of his performance and mine to see if the brand of panel makes much difference. I'll get back to you when I've got some data.

You did well. I expect the Hyundai will be similar to the Sanyo in quality and performance. The Chinese ones would be more of a gamble.

I'm a big fan of South Korean goods and would be happy to use Hyundai if I was installing solar panels.

Will be interesting to hear your findings Lydia. :)

I like this. If you update it I am at the bottom in the middle.

Well my media career didn't last long, I was contacted by a national newspaper today re my professional shopper skills but when I explained that I did it because I had taken time of work to project manage my extension rather than because I was flat broke from the recession they decided I wasn't the penny pincher they were looking for. Still makes you think when you read these stories it is because they have found the evidence to fit the story they have already written rather than written a story based on the evidence - are you reading this Graham_Devon?
    I think....

I’m in the in-house corporate magazine for a large accountancy firm this month, on how one of their accountants reduced my VAT liability to double figures legally.

I’m expecting HMRC to come knocking pretty soon........

chewy has a lot to answer for.

i went to a fitness class today and EVERYONE was better than me.

    by a bloody mile.

yes, even the little old ladies

everyone in fitness classes thinks that everyone else in the class is better than them, so you're fitting in well.

classes don't really work for me though, i find things like spinning really boring. it's all about finding a way to exercise that you are personally compatible with.

The first one is always harder because you're learning new things. Miss Kool will find it easier soon once there's a bit in the memory bank and when you've been a few times and someone else new starts, you become a pro! And that's when you smile and tell people not to worry because you were the same when you started ;)

I get bored doing the same things over and over again, so I tried bootcamp today.

and really, I was the worst, everyone else did all the runs and the boxing and the sit-ups.

I was so taken by the map I thought of more vital NP statistics we could plot - height, age, house price;), charge out rate, BMI:eek: and then thought better of it.

It's always going to take a few times to get up to speed. You've done the hard bit by going the first time
