    It's strange given how prolific he is, but the two books you see taken out all the time, even though they are both pretty old now, are Birdsong and Engelby. The Bond stuff has a different audience. I get the impression that because he doesn't write to series he isn't one of those authors that people want to go through his body of work.

    Incidentally, if anyone does like particular authors and wants to read books in order, this is a great website:

    Who are we talking about? At first I thought it was Faulks, but he isn't prolific, he writes less than a book a year.

    Go outside then.

    It'll be well above freezing outside ;)

    I have resorted to snuggling in my bed, feel so ill and so cold...thankfully, I have a rare not much to do day today (touching wood very firmly as whenever I think that, I get a call from the school!)
    We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
    Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Get well wishes to all the poorlypops NP and kids.

    I'm hiding from workmen in DDs bedroom. It's the warmest room in the house, though it's all seeped out now. They seem to be allergic to heating.

    Dh lwnr to have a look at the place he's going for a year and its great. The people were extremely keen to have him and made adjustment to hours for him so he can get in an hour later then is their usual on monday (they starts at nine, dh's is tenish on a monday..) furthermore, in reposnse to discussion about that dh was asked if scheduled flextitime allowing a half day on fridays would be of benefit! They also felt the need to suggest that they are so keen to have dh for the year they would also offer some work from home flexibilty. It looks like its goning to be a nice year with lots of snuggly weekends.

    Things felt so stressful a month ago and now better than they would have been with out that.

    Edit. Lwnr should have been went. That was mine. Goning is going but that was readable.

    Thats great news! :j:beer::j

    Like my neighbour problem, which I don't talk about on this thread, these things can turn around, even when you least expect them to. :)
