I buy cheap, unbranded PCs/laptops from ebuyer. This PC is the cheapest they made in 2006, my laptop is the cheapest they made in 2007.

    They last.....

Only reason I am getting a new PC at some point in 2012/2013 is because this one is 6 years old and the HD is full and I've never reinstalled Windows etc.... so rather than buying/fitting a new HD and cleaning it up and doing reinstalls, I'd rather just buy another one. I expect to pay no more than £200 when I do.

You lot lead lifestyles I'd previously only encounter on the telly or in magazines I flicked through at the dentist.

    PTs
    Gyms at work
    Eating posh lunches
    Purple and yellow mange tout?

It's a whole Post Alertfest on this page isn't it!
    :)

Don't forget the champagne cocktails we all drink, and the g&t breakfasts.

I went premium economy on the Eurostar too. Wooooo!

Does it cost £32 to get home? Gym at work is perfect! I'm looking forward to starting my new job (one day) so that I can go to my gym at lunch (drink coffee and eat the nice salmon salad thing they do)

As far as the number crunchers at David Lloyd think, I am an incredibly active user.

you lot are too sensible :p

gym at work is £185 per year with 2 hours of free personal trainer sessions. The problem with gym at work is that it's a university setting so will probably be full of young lithe bodies, not frumpy women :(

Gym at work is the best way. Get down there for 40 mins at lunch three times a week and then two longer evening sessions- much better in terms of time efficiency as you don't have to waste time getting to the gym and back. So much easier to motivate yourself to go there too.

I do think you're worrying too much about what the other people inside the gym look like and whether they are going to spend time judging you if you don't look like them. I think youll find that most people in the gym are sweaty people trying to shift a bit of weight. I haven't been inside a gym that was a parade of beautiful people prancing about.

i like my lunch hour thank you :p, we have lunch together as a team and spend time talking. It's great for team spirit.

And my days are not so easy to be broken up into. It seems stupid but once i get going I can work 10 hours straight if there is something to finish.

I do want to do something, i think I just need to figure it all out. I will brave the gym on thursday (monday is a bank holiday, tuesday is in London, wednesday induction for 2 newbies, so thursday it is then).

I don't even know what that means.....

I know it means you went on a train that goes under the sea, from the UK to France.... and that's the extent of my knowledge.
