Is an i3 processor on a toshiba laptop any good? Is that better than dual core? Comes with 4gb memory and 640gb hard disk for 349. I asked on the techie board, but they Argue amongst themselves over there and I don't understand what they are saying.
Rule 1: Never ask a techie about anything..... you just end up with a bigger list of stuff you don't understand

Hmm - but for chewie to look at your figures and shout at you if they are wrong it costs £200 per hour...

£200 an hour? That's what my charge out rate was in 2004!

just had an initial session with a personal trainer. he's £32/hour :(

    worth it for 10 hours?

Difficult to say. If he's a really good personal trainer it's a bargain. If he's average then quite expensive.

What did you do in your initial session? If he just stood next to you and told you to pedal faster then it's definitely not worth it!

I said to dh' if doozer is coming i am not having these stacks of boxes down stairs, its bad enough being in a state without a wall of boxes in the dining room. So we have been sorting boxes. I found a box dh had shipped back from somewhere that appears to be full simply of rubbish. That sort of hoarding is the sort opf thing his mother did, and her parents did. Not bishiong ANYTHING. I am a hoarder, i get finding some things hard to throw away, boxes full of rubbish, not so much.

surely, what you regard as rubbish could be his "important things"?

At least, that is why we seem to have a house full of rubbish. Nobody dares throw anything away in case it is important to somebody else. One day, I am going to have to become extremely ruthless. Grrrrr!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Plastic bags, many of them torn? Plastic knives that come in a packet with a paper napkin and. Fork, but the pack has been opened at the fork has been used, but the knife and napkin 'might come in handy, like the other fifty or so? Reeipts from 2005 for 5o p spends? Sweets costing fifty p with a 2005 date :D?

We disagree about some 'important things' but we are entitled to keep those till we each see sense (i have a lot of this stuff myself! ):D but things we both agree are rubbish and have been shipped back from italy and stored in office for so long are a drain on space, mind and money.....and take up room in the wheely bin. I make about a carrier bag full or rubbish most weeks, but at the weekend a bin bag full appears, after we throw away all the dtored rubbish i intend to work out why this is!

Today was the consultation. It'd be exercises at home and trying to get me to do stuff around my life (i guess running up and down my stairs like a loon) and a gym plan when I feel ready to face the beautiful bodies in there.

His website has a 25% off (which makes it even more tempting) and he has a moneyback guarantee (like after 3 sessions etc). I can also swap them for massages if I feel like I'm being worked too hard :rotfl:

£32 an hour for a massage is worth it.

I'm still thinking about just joining a gym and biting the bullet. I hate being a size 14 :(
