So we have been sorting boxes. I found a box dh had shipped back from somewhere that appears to be full simply of rubbish. That sort of hoarding is the sort opf thing his mother did, and her parents did. Not bishiong ANYTHING. I am a hoarder, i get finding some things hard to throw away, boxes full of rubbish, not so much.
Boxes full of rubbish, I'm with you, I can't believe he shipped it! Stuff in general, I can handle, believe me.
I have two kids, one of which is a boy that plays sport at least four times a week and has dirt ingrained in him, a husband that refuses to take his shoes off, a dog that doesn't moult but attracts dirt like the rough bit of velcro attracts fluff, and a girl that smells like too much perfume but hates washing.
No stuff, but drifts of sand and dirt it's like the Great Escape and someone's emptying their pockets every day on my floor.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Today was the consultation. It'd be exercises at home and trying to get me to do stuff around my life (i guess running up and down my stairs like a loon) and a gym plan when I feel ready to face the beautiful bodies in there.
His website has a 25% off (which makes it even more tempting) and he has a moneyback guarantee (like after 3 sessions etc). I can also swap them for massages if I feel like I'm being worked too hard :rotfl:
£32 an hour for a massage is worth it.
I'm still thinking about just joining a gym and biting the bullet. I hate being a size 14
Whether you get a PT or not, going forward you're going to need to do regular exercise be it in a gym or not. Why not try to find a gym within no contract tie-in and bite the bullet. If after a month you find that you are not going much then perhaps try to kick start it with a PT. I would reiterate though that you will get better results if you combine the new exercise regime with a closely controled diet involving a slightly reduced calorie intake. Also, if you eat a lot of white bread then cut it out of your diet if you can, worked for me anyway.
Also, I try to do as much as I can to burn a few extra calories here and there. E.g. I always walk up escalators instead of standing on them. Every little helps. I hope it does anyway. I think anything you can do at home when you would otherwise be lounging about is worth doing. At the same time as saying that, I find that it is 1,000 times harder to do some press ups at home than it is in the gym.0 -
P.s. missk, have you thought about getting your oh to help you? Sometimes it is easier to get fit together, and I enjoy jogging with oh. Everyone is different though and for some it is probably their idea of hell!0

From a personal point of you, as a girl, I suspect it's less pleasurable for me to watch my OH's boobs jiggling whilst running than it is for you.
Just guessing.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It's gettin' hot in here....723 degrees
So take of all your clothes (having carefully adjusted the Venetian blind angle first)I think....0 -
Well it goes i3, i5 and i7 these days for intel. If you wait a bit you might find an i5 for that price. How big is the screen?

They say that they are refurbished, but we've had 8 PCs from them so far and they've all been new. Can't see any stand-out bargains at the moment though. ETA: we're assuming 15" screen for the price, if it is 17" could be quite a good deal.
The boys both have Dells, the chargers are always failing, the track pad iritates me. Reading around Toshiba seems a good brand.I bought my daughter an HP - Pavilion g6-1240sa Refurbished 15.6" Laptop from Currys for £320. That's an i5 CPU. Refurbished, but looked like new, and so far no hitches.
I think that you would struggle to get an i5 laptop new for under £350. Edit: Just seen Michael's post. Why not just buy that and be done with?
As for whether the i3 is any good, it depends what you will do with the laptop?
Chat to you lot, bit of excel, word, facebook. Apart from the fact my current PC is about to fail (capacitors leaking) the frustration is that the facebook games like bejeweled and zuma run so, so slowly.
i've never heard of Medion.
i3 would probably be OK, just need to find a good one at a good price. I have asked OH to join in this newfound idea. He has refused
:rotfl:
I might go and visit gym at work, this might mean giving up my liftshare.
although currently I am shopping for purple and yellow mangetout. I need a life.0 -

Does it cost £32 to get home? Gym at work is perfect! I'm looking forward to starting my new job (one day) so that I can go to my gym at lunch (drink coffee and eat the nice salmon salad thing they do)

I'm currently using a 7 year old medion laptop bought as a refurb, case is broken from various drops on the floor but all still works despite thousands of hours of misuse. It does seem a bit slow sometimes but it is only a p4 with 512 of ram and the 40gb hard drive is too full. They aren't the best brand but they can pass.I think....0

You lot lead lifestyles I'd previously only encounter on the telly or in magazines I flicked through at the dentist.
PTs
Gyms at work
Eating posh lunches
Purple and yellow mange tout?
It's a whole Posh Alertfest on this page isn't it!0
