Never seen/heard of Freakonomics. Never heard of Sky Atlantic either.

I tend to watch BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Dave and More4. I flick round until something looks OK, then I have that on.... could always be missing all sorts.

No, I never know what's on the telly unless I stumble across it. And earlier I cooked some cheesy mash/beans and, with a full belly, I then fell asleep for 2 hours.

It seems that every time I eat the equivalent of a plate of hot food I nod off for 2-3 hours. :(

When I woke up I thought it was tomorrow morning, so I "got up" even though it was dark.... then realised it was still tonight.

Haha, i do the getting up thing sometimes. :).

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

People in our former search area have finally got real......except at this time of year, a lot of the 'old chestnuts' suddenly re-emerge from the woodwork, and at the old prices! :rotfl:

Loving the idea of chestnuts emerging from woodwork....;)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Hoping for decent weather tomorrow. Thinking of a day in the garden.
Probably won't do anything, just sit there & read.
Might plant some more peas. Peas are my favourite-est veg in the world, so I want to make sure whatever I do grow is at least enough for one meal. I don't seem to have too much stuff that will be planted out, so am going to have loads of spare space in the garden. May as well fill it with peas I suppose...

I do miss having any form of outdoor space. Even sitting on the front doorstep would mean I was huddled between two 1200 litre oil tanks (both within 3') - not pleasant.... and, rather scarey.

We used to grow peas - to eat as peas.

I've no idea what "shoots for salad" could even be/look like, or how you'd use those. Never heard of it before.

I've had mange tout about 3x in canteen meals at work in the past 20 years. They're OK.

    I do love peas....

Dh is in a meeting that started at eight am. Has gone through lunch....which dh thought might be break but they continued meeting over food, and now same for supper, he texted me while there was a fag/ loo break.

A meeting harping on about issues that cannot be resolved and last through meals and from beore breakfat till after be time would in domestic situation mean divorce!

I googled images for pea shoots.... that looks like the leaves of the plant. Is that what it is? Never eaten the leaves; never heard of anybody eating the leaves!

I used to like going down the garden, picking a pod of peas, opening it (checking for maggots), then running my thumb down the inside spine to release the peas ... and scoff them.
