Malcolm and lemonjelly, nice to see you both again. :hello:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Dog dog is not a paper eater.
Mauve squeaker ate a salad tonight, which even by my animals freakishness is odd. I took a picture for fir.0 -

Surprisingly tasty.
Although it took some getting used to ordering it when I lived there without the fear of being beaten senseless.
that sounds almost as horrendous as nike's marketing faux pas. i think i'd rather drink red wine mixed with baileys. :vomit smiley:0 -

to be fair, i only gave her the silent treatment when in fact she deserved the hair dryer*. she had been specifically told never to put my trousers in the washing machine again after the first time. i can't remember ever being so cross in my entire life!
* = for those unfamiliar with alex ferguson, this is not a form of domestic violence.0 -

Chewy, you have had a lucky life. Some anger management might help it continue to be so.0 -

i don't need anger management, i just need people not to destroy my passport in exactly the same way once every two months! is that too much to ask?
p.s. i forgot to add that when i pulled the sodden mess of my passport out of my jeans on the second occassion and released a stream of some of the worst words that have ever been heard, her reaction was to burst into fits of laughter, which took her about 10 minuntes to recover from. this really, really did not help the situation.0 -

I’ve just had an offer from Natwest Commercial for £312.18 in charges and interest, which isn’t bad, considering it was me that messed up the company finances this month (paid someone 2 days before I should have, and set all hell loose!) Really happy with that one! I say just, at 9.42 this morning, but I’ve only just checked my emails.
Take it as a ‘gesture of goodwill’ though, not a ‘you transferred the corporate CC to the bank balance and actually saved us doing it ourselves’ one

I was shocked that I could barely imagine what that drink would be like and was releived when barkeeper hesitantly replied in a deadpan "why not order something you'll enjoy drinking, madam".
lir will get her passport. Unless it's delivered to my house by mistake. In which case, my dog will surely eat it.:(CKhalvashi wrote: »How are we all? :hello:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
