My only problem with cooking fro. The freezer is remembering to defrost stuff.

In any case, it is time we went away for a weekend together without the children.
My parents aren't from the "going away for a weekend" generation, so they never did it. But then, they only went out once a year - to the Xmas Do of one or the other of them.... and they even stopped that once they were in their 50s/60s.
Their last holiday (break, outing, whatever you call it and of any length) was probably in 1993.0 -

I use hot wate r bottles or, in bed, electric blanket. Resisted that for years, but its been a lifesaver here.0 -
I bet some of you lot have had/used cooker hoods in the past. Do they actually work? Do they remove cooking smells? Or are they just an ugly and noisy annoyance?0

They work if they are properly vented. If they aren't, they aren't worth having.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

For those that are bored and have an iPad or iPhone, there is an app called "draw something". Very similar to pictionary, very addictive.
It's free at the moment.
It's a bit slow and I draw like a 3 year old, which helps
