But the more interesting question is which of the NP would you consider having a fling with and why....

Just heard dh is going to be an uncle. Very happy for sibling in law. Bit grizzly myself though!

Great news for DH. Sorry if it is sad for you though lir. I know how much you would like that to be different. I am going to be an aunty again later this year and am very excited, but I've never wanted children. It must be very hard the other way round.

They both drive, in fact they drive a lot from/ at home. They do travel independently. Eldest (now 21) has stayed in Berlin for a month, done a uni exchange in China and travelled around Brazil, as well as the usual festivals here and abroad. Youngest (18) has also holidayed abroad with mates. They do make independent career choices too, I wouldn't have chosen psychology as a subject to study. All parents have to choose where to let go and where to rein in and my issue is with having a car.

It also comes down to not spending unnecessarily. We don't want to be running 4 cars with the extra running costs, insurance etc when they can manage perfectly well to share when they are both at home.
This is one MEGA household of posh alerts isn't it!!!

I would never have a fling. I have an agreement with DH that I could with Clooney if he could with Minogue, but that is the only open element in my relationship and long may it stay that way. On the other hand I thoroughly enjoy celebrity window-shopping.

You see, to know a lot about it?
Brought up there. Town and gown. Them an us. You pick up bits and pieces as when you're parked up by the kebab van at night you used to see all these posh people in evening wear trotting about the place ... and talking posh.

I didn't actually know what a Uni was - it wasn't something schools mentioned. I just knew that there was a Uni and people went there from 18-21 and I thought it was to become a teacher or something. Going to Uni wasn't for us ... that was for them. We were at school so we could "leave school and get a job".

I don't do flings. No point. What a waste of time when I could be sitting here watching the telly and talking b0ll0x online!

I'll live.:D Jealousy is a terribly destructive thing, so i'll buck up in half an hour and banish it o. Obviously, will never ever do anything other than enthusiastic niceness in rl...

Its also good to hear my in laws are all pleased...for various reasons they might not have been, so that they are is resoundingly positive ans something to be happy about.
