I think lir has a few spare rodents, if they're interested.;)
Doesn't help when supporters write stuff like: " Laboratory animals in the UK are extremely well looked after, often hundreds of times better than peoples pets."
Very scientific measure, that!
Have a good time in Sicily.....assuming you eventually exit the gravitational pull of the south East.0 -

Really interestingly one batch of poison is untoched and one is being gobbled and gobbled. Hope they are not eating it having developed immunity to it!0 -
About 20 years ago, in a temp job I did for over a year, one of the jobs was closely involved with animal testing - it was actually at a little building up the road from the office and the office was based in a Hospital.... and the people who did the testing would come up to our office and we'd all walk to lunch together and have lunch together at least 3x a week. I used to order the little rats etc - and calculate the grant pot sizes.
I've no problem with animal testing.
I was taken for a random walk around the building where they did the testing and operated on small farmyard animals. Found out about the day a pig exploded on the operating table as although he'd not been fed since the day before, he'd managed to snuffle some hay from his bedding area.... and BANG!0 -
We can't get decent Freeview. DW has a box thing I don't understand, linked to an old Sky dish. This produces nothing but American crime dramas, animal documentaries, Location x3 and Antiques Roadshow.
That's why I'm here.
Do you have Sky Freesat? If so, do you have a viewing card in the box? If not you may be able to get a freesat card which accesses more channels. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? My goodness, is anyone watching the news? What on earth is Sam Cam wearing? She has on a long high neck dress the style of which is lovely but the fabric..... It looks like one of those polyester flowery covers that you used to get to put over a worn out sofa - adverts for them used to fall out of the Sunday supplements up until about 10 years ago. It is hideous. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
