We have an outside hot tap, I don't really know why.

Ooh I would like one of those to hose down the wife when she's back from the field.

Surely a cold one would be good enough for that? :D

Do you have plans for an outside shower? They're not unknown round these parts so surfers can wash down/wash off their wetsuit and board without going into the house.

When we rented an old holiday cottage in Crackington Haven we had one of those. The place was 'seen to' by someone called Maureen, who popped in when we went out, so we never actually met. However, Maureen left notes. ;)

One day, we came in to find the message "The shower head is broke, so you cannot use it."

We wrote back "That's OK, we'll use the one outside :)"

    It was February....:rotfl:

Rather than having an outside shower / bidet / tap to wash the dog, why not leave the dog outside.

Dogs: just another entry in the long, long list of stuff I just don't get.

Why bring it in? Because heating somewhere outside is expensive and cold dogs get ill which is expensive. Also, why have 'man's best friend' and not spend time with it....they are companion animals...so if they are outside and i want their company i have to be outside too.

Big dog is getting lots of treats but is missing home a bit. Dog dog is asleep on my feet and ecstatic to have no big dog here.

Clutch on my car needs replacing.:(

Oh, for the patronising women comments as raised by lydia...

Garage asked me today if a certain type of loan vehicle would be 'too big for me'. I laughed my socks of at him. Then he asked how confident i was driving an automatic.....

So, i was less cocky, but said...dopne it twice. He decided i would be better in a manual. I thing he's giving me a minibus or something.

My garage is 5 miles distant, so I need one of their courtesy vehicles whenever I have work done.

Last time I stood waiting, the lad reversed a huge 4x4 down to me and parked up. I'd just got my hand on the door handle when he shouted, "No, that's the tow truck. I'm getting yours now!" :o

It was a Rover 25. Great psychology though. Believe me, if you want to feel good about whatever you drive, just have one of those for the day!
