Miele - it just came up on the grabbit board.
    http://www.johnlewis.com/230950645/Product.aspx

£159 instead of £299 as they've price matched it.

Ideal if you want a Miele vacuum AND you're a snow about buying only from JL.

    :)

The reviews are generally good, although I'm not sure what "cleans like darth vader" means.

You can probably buy a 14 yards' swimming certificate on ebay.

Probably easier to buy a university degree!

Get me one when you find one for sale.
They want one these days for jobs that don't need one.... just because they can.

May i shout a little? Just tried to put a wash on to find washer would not turn on, nor would dryer and it turns out the freezer on the same socket is also not working.....and everything is defrosted in there...yuck yuck. I told dh and he said he had noticed at the weekend the bread he took out was not frozen properly.....

Why the dockens didn't he tell me or look at it then!!. I have changed the extention they all go through, but its not that, and thankfully the other freezer is still on.....it just had 15 kg of aberdeen angus go into it last week, and has the more valuable stuff in it.

Still, the other one has some meat too. :(. All too far defrosted and for too longto even give to the dogs. I am so cross. And wondering what i will wear to orrow as i have nothing clean.

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Its a clash here, science has been ditched for religion now.

Why do they put the interesting stuff so late at night?

Also, wondering if all nice parents watch the royal Institution christmas lectures with the nice children? You rarely hear them mentioned these days, thoguh that might be cos i don't mix in the right circles any more!

well, if it matters, darling husband probably didn't think it would matter much. And you don't need clean clothes if you're just hanging out with builders and mucking animals.

otherwise, big hugs and have something comforting. I recommend something sweet.

Well, i have handwashed some knickers. I chose very flimsy ones n the basis there is less of them to dry overnight;) so me and my flimsy knickers can deal with the yuckiness tomorrow. I will find a long extension and plug it in again..frozen offf food is much less yucky.

Thing is, animal peroples dirty is sort of like jormal people's rubbish! I started stripping out big dog at the weekend, so everything i have worn since then is covered with LOTS of grey fluffy, dusty hair...plus mud from sittting on the ground with her.
