One daft question I've had was "what's your management style?".

I have no management style, I've been a manager of projects, not people.

And I don't know the names of any management styles whatsoever. They should have given me a multiple choice if they're going to ask irrelevant questions.

So, you lot: What's your management style?

This way I can see what some proper/expected answers might look like.

Whoa.... that was weird.... some time back I couldn't for the life of me remember the last name of somebody I used to know 30 years ago and was having one of those "I wonder what happened to ...."

.... and there they were, just mentioned on Have I Got News for You.

Great, now I remember their name!

Thank you. When do I start? :)

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

anyone watching bbc2? 3 minutes of exercise is all that is required.

    I'm believing it (not really)

That was on the bbc website recently as well. Complete toss if you ask me. Might work for the 5% of people that can eat what they want and do no exercise and not gain weight, but then so would eating cake and watching tv. I know from experience that I need to do a lot more than that!

I would answer that question by saying "my management style is to not waste my time dealing with stupid questions" and then staring the interviewer out.

OK, so you've now got three points on the "against" list....
    1] Uses James Brown's tailor
    2] Wrong watch
    3] Kinda creepy

Miele - it just came up on the grabbit board.
    http://www.johnlewis.com/230950645/Product.aspx

£159 instead of £299 as they've price matched it.

Ideal if you want a Miele vacuum AND you're a snow about buying only from JL.

    :)

You can probably buy a 14 yards' swimming certificate on ebay.

Unfortunately the gun in question is an 8 shot Blackhawk revolver.
