I'm afraid I've been a bit of a Luddite when it comes to PC's Friends have been banging onto me for ages to go Apple. i bought a Sony Vaio desktop eight months ago,which froze and then stopped working. Sony refused to honour the Guarantee as they said it had never been registered, which was balls. I bought it through M&S who's customer services were brill. No quibble and money back straight away. I've bought new,expensive - yes, but hopefully it'll last a few years!

It should be good for a long time. My current mac's ten years old and still does most things I need, so I'd imagine yours is pretty future-proof.

If I find any more useful sites I'll PM you so we don't hijack the thread.

Aww. I miss the gambia . Dh wants to plant a tree over her grave next year but i quite fancied mounting her little skeleton in a couple of years . I think the tree will win, because dh thinks it would upset him.
