Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200
Grocery Challenge £200 pm Jan £0/£200
January no spend days - 1/31
  • I think your all being very harsh,.. in this day and age why shouldn't she be entitled to a car? and some people are better at repaying to commitments than saving. Obviously it is those being harsh about getting a £2000 loan for a car that has the issue or problem.
I think moving nearer to town would cost more than a car. And is it this ladies fault her partner left her alone with a newborn baby?
Remember maybe just one day in the future you may lose your 'harworking jobs' and need help via benefits.

yes you are so right, apologies of course in this day and age she (you) should be entitled to a car - we all should, what on earth are the government thinking, they should be handing out cars to everyone when they turn 17

    Right....a couple of questions first.

What car do you currently have? You say it keeps breaking down, do you know what those issues were? There might be some friends who could help or have a look? I'm happy to help friends with their car problems if they have issues. If I'm local then I'd also be happy to take a look.

How refreshing to read a pleasant and helpful post!

There are some very bitter people out there who begrudge others air.

I begrudge nobody anything, as long as they pay for it with their own money.
