I think moving nearer to town would cost more than a car. And is it this ladies fault her partner left her alone with a newborn baby?

Right....a couple of questions first.
What car do you currently have? You say it keeps breaking down, do you know what those issues were? There might be some friends who could help or have a look? I'm happy to help friends with their car problems if they have issues. If I'm local then I'd also be happy to take a look.
How refreshing to read a pleasant and helpful post!
