On non carpeted areas i would choose my Henry every time but on carpet you need something around 1900 Watts. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I have one of those rubber broom type thingies. Yes its very good at getting up hairs but i prefer my pet vaccum.
I prefer to use my rubber brush slightly damp as i find it gets the hairs up better. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Maybe you got carried away and decided to sweep the communal areas too.....0 -
Making my way your way

Dome 2 bedrooms, bathroom and hallway - it is hard work BUT...... does the job ...
On to the living room and ki9tchen now.....
No, have not been at it all the time since I posted..... had a few breaks for my fitness pall on here...LOL
Had a problem with bathroom, getting behind the loo etc but fiddled with it and done it....0 -
Well you see one needs the combination approach! I use the small vacuum with a soft furnishing tool to go round the edges of the rooms and into nooks like behind the loo, then I sweep the main area of the room and hoover up whatever is gathered.
Must be worth a few points on your fitness calculator too!0 -
