Hi all
Good to see such a busy thread. La E..well done on forgoing the IKEA trip..such self restraint!
Spendaholic Chick- I shopped at AL.I yesterday and our cat was also fine with their food...at half the price it's the way to go!
Today was a LSD with OH buying some French language apps for our DD1.. That's it. As I have delayed paying my allotment rent until next week we did keep to the budget despite OH's splurge on 2 hats:eek:
Had friends round for a lovely leisurely late lunch. We did main, pork so a cheap meat and loads of left overs, they did a scrumptious pudding and bought wine. So a good result today. Have a very tidy house. Kids in bed and settling down to watch Sherlock with my OH. Small things indeed but blissful!
Have a great week all..hugs to those who need them

Hi Everyone Really like this thread!
I had the day off today and did some housework. Also loads of paper work for work.
I Made 24 chocolate chip cup cakes from stores in cupboard.
Used up my left over apples and pears at the bottom of the Fridge to make apple Puree/ stewed apple.
Checked bank balance.
Went to charity shop and got a lovely bag by The White Company for £3.50 and a necklace from M and S for a pound.
Started researching cheaper House and Contents Insurance. I am sure I am paying too much.
Must plan menus for next week. I will try and use what I have.
Pay day is still quite far away, and I don't want to go over budget.
Best wishes to all.0
