Phew, that took a bit of getting used to:rotfl::rotfl: trying to work that swype text thingy... My inner secretary just can't get used to not having a proper keyboard :rotfl:
I can't believe how long I've spent this morning playing with my new gadget. It's great. I'm going to use Lemon to track receipts and expenses http://lemon.com/ and I've got ColorNote for my list addiction
Last night at grandma's was ok in the end... Think guilt got the better of the inlaws and they gave us £10 for the taxi home. Tee hee hee.
I'm at home all day today - just popping up to the butchers at the top of the road to get something for the SC - so hopefully I won't do too much damage to my bank balance...
Catch up with y'all soon xxx0 -
You're right perni! I will put the petrol I would get for the miles in and take it back through petty cash - I am the manager after all! Good thinking bat girl!DF as at 30/12/16

I'm in love with ColorNote too! Even though it's just a simple notes/lists app I think it's actually one of my favourites
I'm going to dl Lemon & see if it's any good, sounds easier than manually entering everything in!
Glad the in-laws stumped up more this time

Hello there! Hope you don't mind me crashing your thread... I'm new :-)
Well today I don't plan on leaving the house. Kids still in jammies playing lego/snuggling beside me. Trying to stay under budget on weekly online shop. Will air dry washing rather than tumble. I checked under the sink and found 3 bottles of fairy liquid, 2 of dettol and 3 of bleach - I will now make sure I check before buying more each shop!
Tonight hubby and I will be counting our pennies (in the literal sense) from the large whiskey bottle. It's almost full now, so should be a few quid in there to go to credit card.
Then we will be mostly playing board games.
Happy days!0 -
Sorry to those of you having difficulty finding the thread cos no smiley - I must admit in all the years I've contributed/lurked, I've never noticed it

I tried to edit, but keep getting 'error on page' message when I try go advanced, so stumped
Am kicking myself because DS wants an angry birds i phone speaker dock for his birthday - I saw them in the sainsburys sale a couple of weeks back for £39.99, but thought I'd check online before buying. They were £29.99 on amazon so I thought I'd get it there...just looked today and they're £52.99 now

I've forgotten it before and to add it have just opened my original post, then edit, then go advanced and at the bottom you should have all the smilies in a row to add one to the thread title? Sounds like mse is playing silly b*ggers with you chick:rotfl:

ETA: Just seen the speaker dock for £29.99 at Currys - free delivery I think?I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Hiya Dizzy B :hello: Hope you enjoy the thread! I love it here. There's one each weekday and then one over the weekend so make sure you pop back/look out for us. Lots of great tips and a great bunch on here. One of the 'happier' threads on the board too

I think I love you pixie! Thank you so much! I had done a quick google search but not too in-depth (obviously) as I'm trying (but failing) to write an assignment and not be distracted too much by t'internet
Just gonna check if there are any codes about, it's in my 'basket' already! You just made my day :T
