Congratulations JG...love the name, glad all went well.

LW....sorry to hear that shoulder is no better....about children, never can understand why people feel they have a right to comment on someone's private business...

Lovely day here to-day, almost like early summer, is freezing now, but love to see the sun during the day...does show up how bad my windows are, dogs sit on the cills when they are outside so would really need to clean every couple of days, and that is NEVER going to happen.

Hi Cait....have been a bit hit and miss in attendance for the last few weeks.

Dinner was gammon steak with roast potatoes, mushrooms, onions and broccoli...OH seems to be in a cooking phase at present, so am letting him get on with it.

Took decorations off C tree eventually to-day, am cutting all brances off tree before we take it out, otherwise will be finding pine needles until November....trunk can be used to support a climber in garden.

Julie67...have been looking at flights to Oz too, as plan on visiting my daughter in Perth in July or August, haven't managed to get anything cheap later than June....we can now go from Dublin to Dubai and then on to Perth so will avoid a stop in either Heathrow or Frankfurt....looking forward to it as have not been in Perth before.

Paid for my next lot of swimming lessons to-day...start next Thursday, have taken a chance and booked for Improvers so hope that I can keep up (literally!)

Have discovered that the wool I ordered from Kemps is still cheaper than going to shop in suburbs to get it, even taking into account the exchange from sterling to euro, and the postage, so happy with that, just wish it would arrive now so that I can get on with blanket.

Sleep well all and stay safe....welcome Newby...will remember your name eventually, so you will have to keep coming back!

Not been to bed yet so it's still friday for me!

JG - Congratulations!! hope you're both very well x

flutterby - good luck with the move and glad to see your new beau is shaping up nicely ;o)

Lamewolf - my mum always says as a mother you get to the point where you wish you'd just kept dogs....u just got to that realisation sooner ;o)

As for Jack Sparrow ...not enough meat on him and way to much hair for me!

DS1 just phoned having a bit of a stress - said he was going to come over but hasn't showed up so now I've got a worry on!
