Just got a message saying from someone saying how they had trouble with Martin's gmail link. If anyone else does, send me a blank email to jc.grogan@gmail.com and I will send you an invite, I have about 90 and they are sitting there doing nothing for the last two years.

I would be glad to give them out.

Let your friends know etc.

Then clicked Sign up for Google Mail

I tried to register but couldn't. I now have an email address but I can't use it. It tells me I can register but it's US only.

I have used Gmail for years now and it is the best service I've ever had. It is considerably better than any paid e-mail account I've used and the large storage space and attachment file size are excellent.

I've also just opened an account using this link without any problems.

Am fed up with hotmail as it doesn't save the emails that you send. Sounds like gmail will be much better.

So I am assuming that the only way to get a gmail account now (not a googlemail) is to pretend you are outside europe?

Its because gmail is owned by someone else in the UK.

Many ppl have said that @gmail.com redirects to @googlemail.com anyway.

That is quite a funny idea though isn't it ? Hotmail anywhere near as good as Google :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
