... just to add my 2pence worth on the washing up liquid debate. We shop as Asda and always manage to find Fairy / other good brands on excellent offers, so we're still using Fairy. So Mrs D3P0 advises... anyhoo... ;)

    OK guys, slightly confused now...

I spoke to the CCCS to sort out them taking my DD from the new account I have set up. When speaking to the consultant I mentioned that I had no paperwork or anything from them saying how much I owed and to whom? I was under the understanding (probably wrongly) that the CCCS would pass on to me some sort of statement as to what was being owed / paid and to whom after they had spoken to them and agreed some form of repayment structure. Is this not the case?

    Advice please?

    Hi

When you have been going a month you will have a CCCS statement. However, these are predictions only as the debt stays with the creditor (or whoever they sell it to if this applies). This is why you should try to get to the creditors to continue to send statements directly to you so you can keep an eye on what is going on.

CCCS are really just like the middle men with the right golf club badge. Being with a not for profit place like CCCS you are more likely to be taken seriously by the creditors but otherwise they do little more than just distribute your money and tell you that you must treat the creditors fairly no matter how they treat you.

    Hope that help.

Yes it's devastating news and possibly the end to a series of incidents which has been going on since May. I really cannot understand why two unarmed policewomen were sent to arrest a person like Dale Cregan who was wanted for two murders by shooting and grenade attack. How could that possibly be viewed as a "routine call"? I live in Liverpool and work in Manchester and the level of violent crime, particularly gun crimes, in both cities seems to be increasing by the day :(

I am sure the government will deny this, stating that their crime clean up figures have never been better and our streets have never been safer. Yeah right to Eton Dave and his little sell out sidekick, we believe that like we believe that you are improving the NHS, and that the new qualification is going to revolutionise education, and that the new benefit system is going to help get people into work. Reality check needed and some realisation of how most people live their lives

If that played out how that's being reported then someone's got some serious answering of questions. 100% it's not a "routine call". This is crazy...

Just read this story about the shooting of the two police women on the news and I was about to have a moan because I was having a bad day. Puts all my stupid problems into perspective.
