    Hi All,

We will be starting our DMP with CCCS within the next week or so, I am ready to send the CC letters out with a token payment, but I saw something about paying these through online banking. Would this be a viable option?

    Welcome

    Hope start up goes smoothly

The thought of having an overdraft or any sort of credit now terrifies me. I know that any sort of opening back into extra credit will ruin me.

I guess I've always lived with the amount of credit I have, so the idea of having an overdraft and not using it would be a bit alien to me.

Sorry, I know this post is pretty useless to Kerinat, just wanted to say that I think a lot of us if offered credit or an overdraft again would end up in the same boat.

Speak to CCCS if you can't pay it off, but prepare for the consequences!

I have just had the most strange conversation with BLS collections. It ref my husbands CC first of all they told me the debt was clear, really didnt know I paid that one. Then they told me that I have not paid them since March and that I owe them 3 months money and I should pay it now!. this was all after they said they could not talk to me as I dont have access to my husbands account details. So after I told the operator that I am going to make a formal complaint about the company he is then the most helpful person ever and I now have a new agreement set up for this account and he is looking for the money which has been paid into their account poss a holding account. I dont like BLS Collections and LLoyds TSB should sort out how they deal with their customers , I know I owe them money but I am trying to pay it. They have got to be the most awful department ever. Rant over thanks for listening , but on the up side everything else seems to be ticking along nicely.

Oh this rings so true. It's the reason we don't give a damn about defaults and how fast or how slowly they happen. I don't care if they stay on our credit ratings forever, I don't care if our credit score is nil until kingdom come. Because we NEVER want or will have credit again.

Lloyds TSB collections department(s) are a joke, I have yet to have any kind of reasonable communication with them and we never understand anything each other is saying. I have had many a rant over them and am sure I will have many more so please feel free to rant away

Am really glad everything else is ticking away nicely :T

Hi just want some info or experiences - CCCS took the 1st DMP payment on 1st June and so creditors will be paid 25th of month - but I've hardly heard a thing from most of my creditors - either acknowledging DMP or chasing me for payment.

    Is this normal?

Hi trainergirl, we've just made our 1st payment to CCCS on 10th June and I'm surprised too that we've not heard from our creditors ;).
We have had defaults issued by most of them now [which I'm led to believe is a good thing] and most have stopped interest and charges too :j. I've said to DH that maybe there are that many people struggling nowadays that this is becoming the norm :o

Hi all, I am just starting a DMP with PayPlan, I owe just short of £39000. From what I have read so far I am dreading dealing with Lloyds TSB, they sound disorganised and unhelpful.

Do these kind of repayment plans run smoothly once they are established.?

Also I really don't care if I never get credit again, I don't want it. The stress has damaged my health and threatened my relationship.

It's weird isn't it? I was expecting hassle and constant calls but nothing! You hear about people getting constant calls at work and at home and it really worries you when you start a DMP that this is going to be your experience. I was surprised at how little contact they made as well, not that I'm complaining though:D
