    Evening all,

My first chance to post today, been rushing around like a bue @rsed fly.
Set off early with DH as he had to go to Warrington and we wanted to try the Ikea there for Kitchen knobs as our local one have run out, anyway no luck so they should have them for the wkend.
Back for a quick coffee and then out to the bank and post office, also thought I would weigh in some old bits of gold I had so £120 better off and into the pot for Australia:D
Then this afternoon has been spent in the loft sorting out ebay stuff and a couple of trips to the tip. Still not finished yet but have at least made a hole in it.
In between have made 2 lots of brownies, one with peanut butter and choc for DS2 and one double choc for DS3.
Just about to eat tea, steak salad and new potatoes a la SW.
I am in the process of registering with Lionsbridge for some home work, has anybody had any dealings.
Hugs and positive vibes for those in need, Cait OMG that's terrible, I agree with the others a card and maybe go to the funeral.

Off for tea, smelling yummy ttfn.

    Hello
Great excitement in our house today, as I am a loyal customer with my mobile, I have a brand spanking new Curve and DD has a Torch. They rang me as our contacts are due for renewal in March. I even got a £5 reduction in my monthly payment, so I'm very happy.
OSwise I have cleaning to do tonight but this will only be done after we have finished playing with our new phones..
    take care all

    Hi all,

Up early off to work, but left early went into town to buy DS1,s18th birthday cards - all full of positive vibes when I got home.

Made dinner, fish and wedges from leftover baked pots from yesterday dinner, all good so far - then DD came home......

After 20 mins of general unpleasentness and moaning about how I never giver any money (£20 pm into her bank, pay for a weekly bus ticket and recently paid off her £100+ phone bill) - all hell broke and OH and her were in a stand-up arguement which was not nice to watch - myself and DS2 are very laid back and dont like any agro - so after the storm abated it has been a bloomin fab night (not) - at least DD and OH are talking to me and DS2 now, but not each other......

Hey ho new day tomorrow xx

Yesterday, I wrote a list of jobs I'd like to do. Then my mind wandered and I spent a lot of time thinking about what I REALLY want to do - you know the type of thing, where hours and money don't matter, what would I love? Answer - captain of a pirate ship in the 1700

Tru this really made me smile. Can I join your crew, i love wearing bandanas and stripes and really fancy tootling round the Caribbean and you are allowed to swear lots-Heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

  • Evening all

Well I ended up going to A&E about my leg as the girls at uni who are nurses were worried about it in case it was a clot . Turns out I have an infection in the blood vessels in the upper skin area so have been given anti-imflammatories and told to rest it if possible (mmmm....I am moving house Sat!!). All ok now though.

Good day otherwise. Took work kids to our log cabin to do activities, one kid refused to take part so I told him he didn't have to be on the course if he didn't want to and not to bother turning up tomorrow. Half hour later he started joining in so hopefully I got through to him. However I don't see him lasting the whole 15 weeks.

Then off to uni this afternoon. Bit scared by the amount of work I need to do in next 6 weeks but it'll get done! It was nice to catch up with the uni girls too.

Not much OS here, need to eat but CBA to at the moment. Need to do a bit more packing too.

    Have a good evening all

    Hi everyone
Long long day today and Ive been rushing around getting car, TV aerials and teeth seen to, oh and then down to SW, anyway got it all done and I lost 4.5lbs :j:j so Im really pleased with myself. Back to work tomorrow and having to work all through the weekend, so I will be kept busy:( dont mind though as the time will go quickly.

Tappers - I also like a cup of tea made in a teapot, I always say it tastes better but my DDs say it tastes exactly the same as a bag in a cup, I wonder if its just that they cant be bothered when its their turn to make one:)

JG - Roo is just too comfy:)

    Hugs/hi fives to all

FBGlad you got your leg looked at. Hope it will soon be better. Good luck with moving. I really admire the work you do with those young people. I couldn't teach that age but then again a lot of people say they couldn't teach the age group I do (6-7 year olds) Don't envy you the Uni work, my daughter is in Cardiff at the Uni of Glamorgan and has a heavy work load as it's her last year.

    Hi.

Had a lovely day today with DS2 and his ladylove. If I'd ever had a daughter I would have wanted one just like her.

We usually take them out to lunch but after investigating our finances I cooked for them - chicken and ham pie, roasties and loads of veg. Have quite a bit over and the Rev is badgering for bubble and squeaky sort of thing and I fancy soup. We'll see.

The house is unnaturally clean and tidy for all our recent visitors, now, can I keep it like this. Mmmmmm.

We have at last had a firmish offer on my Dad's bungalow and we've got 6 viewings booked in for the next three days, one of them a second viewing, on my house on the mainland. Surely, surely that will produce something. The market seems to have gone mad since Christmas.

Flutterby: Good luck with the packing. You must be getting so excited.

Cait: What an awful thing to have happened. The others are right, this is no time for old animosities. Well done you, for intending to go to the funeral.

    Beth: Slow down!

    JulieG: Speed up!
    Only joking.

    love to you all.

  • Hi everyone

Just managed to get on very very late.... had a lovely time with LO tonight read him hid forst proper story and he absolutely loved it... I am counting this as extra os as the bok didnt even cost me anything as it was one of mine from when i was a child and very proud of myself as you would think it was brand new and im now 28 - my mum and dad tought me to look after things.

OH did egg on chips for tea as i can barely walk today.

Hope tomorrow goes ok as OH is in hospital and he will probably be very grumpy when he comes home... any moaning from him and i will remind him of when I had LO three months ago lol.

    Night Night everyone
