Doing that when I can... just been ill so long i can't do much without getting tired out! So frustrating! But DH takes me for walks at the weekend, and my body tires before I do... and nothing! We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -

¡Hola!
We arrived fine last night, almost unpacked, Wii set up, Laptop in place:o, clothes I brought almost away. Coffee & breakfast had. DH disappeared some time ago to talk to a neighbour who is going to build us a wall;) men don't talk much do they!! The sun is lurking behind some clouds, but still 12.5C so not unpleasant. Maybe it should stay in until we are fully sorted:o
I have a chicken, would that work?
Taplady - hope your cough eases soon.
LW - hope the pain is easing.
Rest of the day will be shopping (at Lidl) and getting everything in their places.

Morning all.
Been to town 1st thing to take a few xmas pressies back to M&S. A coat for DS1, needed a size bigger. As it was bought from the sale & our store is small [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] they don't have another one. And dd didn't like the pjs she was given. So got credit note for them. Will give the children the money for them.
I went to Iceland & Poundland & got some bits. I did Aldi yesterday so am almost fully stocked up. Still need washing powder as Sainsburys didn't have the massive box I'd ordered with my sisters shopping.
I've got 3 half loads of washing today. A small whites load (on) , a blues load & a pink/purple load. The DW was on while I was out so that needs emptying. And I have yet more ironing to do.
DH has LO cottage pie with veg & gravy for dinner. Will go through the freezer for the childrens dinner. My healthy eating regime starts today. Will go for a walk after lunch as well & dusat off the wii fit. Also will start up my swimming again in the evenings.
Am going to a-ha fan party in London at the end of March so need to be slim ready for when Morten turns up & sweeps me off my feet! :rotfl:
Esmf, hope you feel better now.
JG, nothing would shift my DS2. I am almost certain I'd be pg with a 2 and a half year old right now if he wasn't pulled out from the sunroof!
oh, I can't remember what anyone else said
Love (((hugs))) & spoons

Morning all, barely skimmed the thread for last few days, seems alot of you out there suffering more than others, hugs to all...I hope you start to feel better/sort problems out soon etc.
Not feeling too good myself today, think flu has come back to bite me on the a**e, feeling out of it, but in work, just dosing myself on Lemon and Honey drinks, throat losenges etc, was in bed at 7pm last night. In a bit of a daze really, came back home on Sunday night to find out that a brother of a friend of mine (estranged friend) stabbed his father to death over the weekend with a sword! Cannot believe it, this lad was a good kid, but had mental health problems and got involved with drugs..still in shock myself, just don't know how they are coping. My friend and I parted a couple of years ago on not good terms but I feel that maybe I should contact her...not sure though. I will definitely go to the funeral and pay respects, I knew her family well and no one deserves that...what is the world coming to? OK, off to do something that I am paid to do, will try to get back later.Cait, at long last signing on:rotfl:0 -

Almost feeling human! Eye is ouch - nice red mark underneath and migraine is disappearing slowly as I've eaten 2 slices of christmas cake and veg chilli! Perhaps the sugar has kicked it into touch! Have now done all the washing - but have mountains of it drying and or needing to be sorted out! Thats this evenings task! Today I've got to take it easy to recover from the headache and the tablets which always knock me out a bit. I've prepared DS1s room for painting and painted the curtain baton. Am neutralising the house in an effort to sell it so magnolia it is then - no personality - well maybe a bit!Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0
