Hi, I've been following this thread for a while and I have now been made a provisional offer. They have sent me the character declaration form as they didn't take it off me at interview and I'm slightly concerned.
There is a question asking if I am an undischarged bankrupt, I went bankrupt a couple of years ago, so I am discharged. However it then asks if I have been adjudicated bankrupt, is this meaning just if I'm undischarged or do I have to tell them about it?
And what are the chances of me receiving a full offer having been bankrupt?
    Thanks!

Whether you're undischarged or not you've still been adjudicated bankrupt. That's what they're asking. You should tell them, however due to the nature of the job they may not be able to take you on as an advisor. So it probably just depends how likely they are to find out.

So, my references have been contacted and I received my clear CRB certificate through the post today BUT I STILL HAVEN'T been given a provisional offer or anything. Really do not know what's going on???:(
I hope it does mean an offer but the not knowing is killing me!
To anybody else who has been given a provisional offer, were your security checks undertaken before the offer or after?

Hi redsky, my checks were definately undertaken after the provisional offer was given. Perhaps you should call the help line, under the circumstances, they must be able to give you something. It seems unusual that all your checks have been done and completed without an offer.

    Hi,

just wondering if anybody has received their starter pack before their start date? or is it likely to come after.

    many thnks

I've just finished my third week in the job, got the job offer 3 weeks before that and still have no starter pack. Nobody appears to have one that I've come across.
