A glimmer of hope to others waiting in North Scotland...
My references have been contacted (Yesterday by email) questions were on a pro-forma which had to be filled in and emailed back. Questions included verifying my current and previous jobs and also if i have ever been bankrupt!:rotfl:
I am currently self employed though so I may be treated differently to those of you who are in employment.
I also received a letter from DWP 2 days ago asking me to reply by 15th May to confirm self employment details and again confirming I have never been bankrupt.
I got a phone call yesterday from a Newcastle based man asking for date of my last house move for the Disclosure form .
At least this means they are looking in detail now and hoping they will start offering locations next week as I was given my provisional offer on Thursday 19th April so thats 4 weeks next Thurs.0 -
Both my personal references received letters today (so presumably my previous employer too) for SE Scotland...hopefully all will be back with the recruitment people on Monday so should hear something back soon now that I've got my clearance too. Hurrah! The end is in sight...0

Will post as soon as I hear anything
Hi there lassie,
I also had that email, first one retracted then they sent another asking where I'd like to go. Tempted to phone but I'm sure they will fob me off ! Someone my wife knows from another office said that her top boss had a meeting this week and was told that an offer letter will be sent within 2 weeks and that they are also lowering the pass mark ??0 -

Was assuming we would get a phone call and possibly be able to pick our preferred office. I only ticked 5 offices, so hoping they'll have vacancies at one of those. Wonder why they are lowering the pass mark, unless they have had a lot of people pull out of the process so far.
Just want confirmation now - can't relax until a formal offer comes out.0 -
Hi All,
Only just found this forum............... Where has it been hiding?
I am on the reserve list for Thames Valley and was wondering if anyone had the DWP recruitment hotline phone number so I can call them to find out how low I am on this list?
Thanks0 -
I too have only just found this forum and spent the last hour having a good read through. Thank you to the regular posters for all the handy info. I had provisional offer on 22/04 and nothing since but this does not seem out of place so gonna sit tight... really just wanted to wish everyone good luck with hopefully speedy replies in the near future0

A while ago I heard rumour of some other jobs, maybe AO's that were a spin off from the EO jobs. Wonder when they are going to be advertised?0

Provisional offer on 07/04/2012, accepted on 08/04/2012.
I have heard NOTHING since. NOTHING! I'm an internal candidate and am outraged at the incompetence of my employers. This is a disgrace.0 -

Have a feeling that these jobs will be offered to those on the reserve lists?
