Anyone from East London that had their interview in the last week to 10 days ago received any scores yet ?0
-
I found this in the 'Guidance', I don't know if it helps
For external exercises only, declare any pre existing relationships to ensure
they do not interview individuals they know to guard against bias
Thanks for that, my friend, with 6 & 7s at written stage, was shocked to see a regional manager from previous stint at DWP. manager acknowledged interviewee was known and then proceeded to wipe her out with scores of 2 +3s. Scores not expected by anyone who knows interviewee, am wondering if there is scope for appeal??0 -

too right your friend should complain.
Copied the following from the guidance for you;
Applicants who feel that some or all of the selection policy or process has not
been adhered to (i.e. mismanagement). The applicant will need to give
specific reasons as to why they feel the selection policy/process has not been
followed.0 -

It must be made within 4 weeks (28 calendar days) of the decision or 4 weeks
from the date that the individual became aware that an aspect of the process
concerned them0 -
I figured by going by what others had had emailed back to them that the info given to me about getting outcomes at the weekend or early next week for SE Scotland was probably inaccurate however, just to confirm if there's any others from my region hoping for info in the coming days, I received this today - at least they got back to me to tell me their info was wrong...just going to have to sit tight and hope for the best. Good luck all!
Dear Graham,
Following my reply to you yesterday, I have done some research and found that not all the interviews have taken place as yet. Therefore it is more likely that you will not hear anything till mid to late April at the earliest.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Subject: Update following interviewDear Sir/Madam,
I interviewed for the position of Executive Officer for the DWP in East/South East Scotland on the 5th March and was advised at the interview that we'd be likely to hear back within two weeks. I have noted my feedback on the CS website although I have yet to hear a final outcome. Can you confirm when I am likely to hear whether I've been successful or not, please?
Many thanks

Sake! This is getting absurd now. Mid to late april at the earliest? I was told early april, I wont be happy if they dont stick to that deadline. I mean, even early April was quite a wait...0 -

I was told they didn't know how many jobs they would have and would place successful internal candidates 1st by end of April so not sure when we'll find out. Also my scores haven't been added to the Newcastle area yet so maybe have to wait a little while longer.
Have fingers crossed as I got 40/45 so hoping I get an offer and able to have better choice of location
he went on to confirm that no-one would hear a thing about how successful they had been until all interviews countrywide had finished and that interviews were currently expected to end on or around the 4th April. It would then be another week or so until the resuts were released, so this would be around about the middle of April. He also confirmed that they were hoping to start moving staff into their new posts with effect from May (no specific dates) but did say that the first staff to be appointed would be internal staff because they could be moved more swiftly. External candidates would be placed later due to notice periods that people would be required to give their current employers. Again no specifics but I would imagine that this would be towards the end of May, but don't quote me on that.
hope this helps anyone wondering when they will hear about job offers xx0 -

. What did you have to score to get a job , looking north west, north east , scotland
There was a post a while back saying it would be 35 points but I'd take that with a pinch of salt because I dont think anyone really knows.
As long as you scored 4 and above (which you have) on each question then you have 'passed'. You'll just have to wait and see how many people did better or worse then you to see if your offered a position or get put on a wait list for 6 months.
Not great really. Personally my OH is still looking for work because it could be end of April before he hears anything and even then he could be 'wait listed'0 -
I m not going to wait now, this exercise already has sapped 3 months of my life, now it's going to take a month more, even before deciding if there is any vacancy for externals. aw well, am moving on withmy life, tired , fed up and exhased of playing this waiting game. No more now.Good luck to everyone here and am disappearing till I hear something ,probably in May.0
