It's so frustrating.. If it wasn't for this forum I'd have gone mad from the little information i have gleaned from the helpline, and the information black-out on the recruitment website.. I just hit refresh here now!0 -
I know what you mean, it's great being able to read about other people's experiences - all in the same boat. Generally I've had to wait up to 2-3 weeks to find out if I've been successful/got through to the next stage of the interview process. This one seems to be a very long process. On the plus side, they don't care about your background/if you're out of work only if you can do the job advertised. It's actually quite refreshing not having to explain you've been made redundant / have some excuse that you've been out of work for for a year (yes I have and been going through 20+ interviews in that time, doing well but not getting the final job offer grrrr). So although it's long and protracted I'm feeling pretty positive about this one..... BUT I just want to know... lol0

As if the DWP recruitment process wasn’t bad enough I’ve just started an application with the Police. Good bye sanity. Hello crazy lady rocking in the corner :eek:0 -

Good luck to all - this is a great site and fab area of support
Absolutely brilliant!!! Do you mind PM-ing me your competencies that you used for the interview, so that I could learn how to write/speak about excellent competencies for my next job searches. Don't think my interview went well
& anybody else with 8's and 9's please... Really need to get a job soon.0 -
Hey guys I have a 1st interview scheduled today but I can't make it due to suffering from feverish symptoms/vomitting, I've been up all morning
I need to re-schedule the interview, or atleast attempt to. does anybody know a number i can call, I tried looking on the civil service website but can't seem to find one. I hope they can reschedule, i'm sure plenty of people might have cancelled? hope so.
any help appreciated0 -
If you log in to the CS site and go to review applcation. At the bottom lefthand side click on vacancy details and the number will at the bottom of the page somewhere. Sorry I don't know the number off the top of my head. Good luck!0

Hope this helps and you feel better soon0 -
Had my interview yesterday morning for West Yorkshire district, hard to read in to whether I'd done ok or not, they told me results will be on cs within a couple of days.
The interviewers told me which competency the question came under but the actual questions were more complex. Anyone else had feedback for this district? Good luck all.0 -

Complex how? Were they very specific or narrow?
Good luck on your results!
