Glasgow for me and Vindallou. I had my interview on the 29th Feb so that puts the 10 day limit out the window. Glasgows interviews ended on 8th March. Recruitment line are aware and was passed to team leader on Monday......still nothing

Just checked and got my interview competency results which are 8,8,9,7,8 so understandably thrilled but unsure if these are just what will be based on giving job roles or will be combined with the test and sifted competency scores? Was told successful internal candidates will be given jobs 1st and would hope they're in place by end of April so no external starts until at least May. Anyone have any other information yet?
Hi Chick
Good scores. I also scored 40 points.
Did you apply for Durham or Tyne and Wear/Northumberland?
Or did you apply for both? I interviewed in Tyne and Wear last week and there were seven panels ongoing that day. I was also advised that letters for T&W would hopefully be out from 21 March with potential starts on 12 April although that was flexible. Additionally, I was told that job offers would be based solely on interview score and not where you were applying from and also that location choice for successful applicants would be given to the highest performers desired choices first.
Mixed messages again, eh?0 -

To our Scottish Cousins:
It seems strange to me that there has been no feedback whatever from Glasgow (and maybe other Scottish areas).
What has been the word from the contact centres?
I would seriously suggest that if you contact the centre again for advice and get fobbed off with "tomorrow" or "soon" you ask to be put onto the team leader and express your frustration at the lack of feedback when other areas can post within hours of interviews being held (quote Tyne and Wear). I don't imagine that you'd need to identify yourself. Just tell them when you were interviewed and see what they say.
It makes you wonder if all of the jobs have been taken by surplus staff. I hope to God it isn't the case but why else would they be arsing about like this?0 -
Have been avoiding this forum for the last week, running up to my interview. Had my interview in Maidstone on Monday, just got my feedback: all 8s. Couldn't be happier, only got 5 4444 on original sift, so really had to put the work in. Just want to thank all those who answered my questions and gave advice on this forum (vindallou, makembill, and a few others in particular) I actually wouldn't of been able to do it without your help.
Thank you everyone.0 -
Which part of Scotland ,did you apply from? I had my interview in Edinburgh district on 2nd and got the results today. The interviews will continue till 4 th of April as been told by recruitment team. It should not take more than 10 working days, if you don't receive any feedback I suggest give a call to recruitment. Hth
I didn't have my interview in Scotland, the Checks they do are the Disclosure Scotland checks which are meant to be faster.
Can see how this is confusing so sorry about that one lol!
I called the recruitment hotline after 5 working days, they told me to wait and they would pass my details onto the management team and my results should be up in a couple of days. 4 working days later nothing.0 -

They said it was down to interviewers doing the scoring but they would raise it to a team leader. Not really the helplines fault I guess. Im trying to be patient, so will give it until the weekend and if I still haven't heard then I will call on Monday. A long wait, but hoping and trusting to hear by then.haha x x x0 -
some excellent scores coming through well done to you all.
I to was wondering about the start dates. I was led to believe April start orginally but now am wondering we are halfway through March now what with crb checks (although the scottish one is quicker) the fact that some people may well have to give 4 weeks notice.
I then was thinking if its a merit list how can they take people off the list not in order ie internal vs external on the basis of who could maybe get in post quicker. I reckon it will be May quite astonishing really when we put our applications in January ha ha
Let us all know if anyone hears anything different.0 -

Well done and thank you for the recognition! With scores like that Im more than sure you didn't need our help, we probably just have you the reassurance you needed to believe in your own abilities!
Very, very well done!0 -
Again, thank you, and hopefully in a month (or 2, or 3!) we will be congratulating one another on starting our new job!0

well finally I had my interview today, I went an hour early and possibly somebody did not turn up and they said they can see me so I started my interview 12 instead of 1pm first 3 question I was ok but on 4th question I think I gave too much information or my story bored them interviewer body language really shut me down. she was looking at me as if she is saying what are you talking about man or are you ever gonna make a point and she stopped taking note and started looking at me after this point I really lost it all confused same with the last questions. then they said that they will escort me to the main door and I said dont you take my papers or check my passport one of the interviewer said that thats fine so I left. 45 minutes later I was called from an unknown number and I was told that they should have checked my identity and I need to go back so that they can check my passport and take the copy of my papers. I told the guy on the phone that I asked and reminded this to one of the interview she said that's fine. anyway he insisted on that I should go back and I did I spent another 40 minutes to go back to interview place. It is really hard when English is not your native language and I believe that interviewer did not give me enough time to explain myself even if I had a boring story, she should have wait, when she cut me of and when she said I want to remind you the question and with her body language ...so I think I failed I could have done much better with a bit more study and luck but it was a good experience in the end. when I was out I checked my watch and I spent 30min so never ever interview on lunch times from now on.0
