Had my feedback back, as I thought, very bad scores (worse than I expected actually) but I'll take this as a blessing in disguise. Gl to everyone still in the process.0

Sorry to hear that - even though you had a gut feeling it wasn't good there is always a small part of you hoping it wasn't so. Hopefully you can find something that suits you soon.0 -
This is the disclosure Scotland check which is (apparently) quicker than the ones they'd used in the past. But I still wouldn't expect people to start 1st April!
Day 14 and still waiting for feedback (I'm not really counting, I had my interview on the 1st so the date tells me how long it's been :P)0 -

Which part of Scotland ,did you apply from? I had my interview in Edinburgh district on 2nd and got the results today. The interviews will continue till 4 th of April as been told by recruitment team. It should not take more than 10 working days, if you don't receive any feedback I suggest give a call to recruitment. Hhhmm - not sure how that is going to work as we are already half way through March and not all interviews have finished yet. Then once they have offered jobs they need to do all the checking - CRB etc - which is going to take at the very least 2 weeks probably more. Then if you have a job you need to hand in your notice - which can range from 1 week-1 month (in same cases more).
They will therefore be very lucky to start anyone before the middle April at the very earliest! I understand why some are saying beginning of May - that makes more sense.
Just a quick point on what Lorac says;
The internal or other government department recruits do not require CRB checks, according to my local area. As they're already Civil Servants, they can be moved into post very quickly.
Another point is that not everyone who is accepted will start straight away. They cannot train everyone "en masse". Some people who they intend to recruit will get "reserve list" letters and get offered a position prior to their training starting. This is to prevent people deliberately refusing alternative work while waiting to start.0 -

Glasgow for me and Vindallou. I had my interview on the 29th Feb so that puts the 10 day limit out the window. Glasgows interviews ended on 8th March. Recruitment line are aware and was passed to team leader on Monday......still nothing :mad: :mad:0 -
Anyboy else having an interview today? I'm at the panic stage where I'm doubting that my examples are strong enough and I need to think up some new ones. Only an hour to go before mine. Will let you know how I get on. Thanks for all the advice on here, especially whoever posted the grid-type method of doing your notes.
Nice to hear you liked my grid. I hope your interveiw went well.0 -
The website checking game is over for me , this morning received aweful interview feedback, 54667, only 28 marks. I read somewhere on this thread that the pass mark cut off point is 30, I am out of running then.
Sorry you're not happy with your result. However, the 30 pass mark was for Dorset. Don't despair if you ain't from there. It may be different. I imagine parts of London to be a fai rbit lower for example.0
